Emergency Rehoming / Foster Needed; Miami, FL 💔 Meet Duke, an 8-year-old black Lab / Great Dane mix who has been staying with us temporarily while his owner faced a sudden medical crisis. Sadly, due to a serious illness that resulted in an emergency leg amputation, Duke's owner is no longer physically able to care for him or take him back. Duke is currently safe, loved, and well cared for in our home; but we cannot keep him long-term, and we are urgently trying to find the right next step for him through a rescue, foster, or experienced adopter. 🐾 About Duke: 8 years old Large breed (Lab / Great Dane mix) Very good with kids Gets along well with our dog Fully intact (not neutered) No bite history Duke did not ask for his world to change so suddenly. He's a senior dog who deserves stability, patience, and a caring home. He loves going on walks and taking naps. A sweet, gentle giant!
