Meet Rook!This 47lb, 1-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix came to the shelter as a stray, but you’d never know it—he hasn’t met a stranger since arriving. Friendly to everyone he meets, he greets the world with a wagging tail and a big, loving heart.He’s curious about other dogs and often invites them to play, making him a fun and social companion. An outdoorsy guy at heart, he especially loves running through the snow and soaking up fresh air. When playtime is over, he’s just as happy to curl up and lay right on you so you can give him all the love and attention he adores.He’s treat-motivated and walks well on a leash, making him a great partner for adventures or relaxed strolls. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, and all-around wonderful companion, this sweet guy might be your perfect match.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Lula loves her people and loves to play fetch. We got her as a pup from a local Breeder. She is house trained and is good in the house. Lula does not get along with our other dogs or cat, and has been aggressive towards other dogs, especially smaller females. She would be happiest as the only dog in the family. Lula is very gentle with people and older children. Lula has been raised in the country and loves walking on our trails and in the woods. We are looking for a good owner or family with older children to give her lots of love and attention.
