Story
Meet Otis! Otis is a 4–5 month old yellow lab mix who is sweet, loyal, and full of playfulness! He loves running around with the kids and other dogs in his foster home, and he’s doing great with potty training. He’s also kennel trained for meals and downtime. He may look small now, but Otis is going to be a large dog—likely 60–80 lbs. He’ll do best with someone familiar with the exercise, structure, and training needs of a big, energetic young dog. He’s smart, eager to please, and settles easily once he’s had playtime and attention.Otis would make a wonderful companion for an active family, especially one with another friendly dog. He’s a perfect puppy, ready to grow up with a family who can match his size, energy, and big heart.

Dog Friendly: No Cat Friendly: No Kid Friendly: Yes, Older Children Meet Griffin: Your Perfect Laid-Back Companion! If you’re in search of a laid-back four-legged friend who’s as intelligent as he is cuddly, look no further than Griffin! This adorable pup is the perfect blend of charm and playfulness, ensuring that there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. Griffin has a delightful personality—he loves to “sploot” (laying with his back legs spread out) to greet you when he’s happy and can’t help but hop around and wiggle his butt when he’s feeling playful. His favorite activities include chasing toys or sticks, and he’ll even take it easy during tug-of-war to keep the fun going. After about 15 minutes of play, Griffin is more than happy to snuggle up on the couch for some well-deserved relaxation. He enjoys short to medium walks and is well-behaved on a leash—though he might get a little excitable if he spots a bunny or squirrel! Griffin is potty trained and does great in a kennel. He’s a true gentleman, never having had an accident or raided the trash or counters. His previous home only kenneled him during thunderstorms, which can make him anxious, so he appreciates a calm environment. While Griffin adores his human companions, he prefers to be the only furry friend in the household. If you’re ready to shower a solo pet with love and attention, Griffin is the perfect match for you!

Story
Dog Friendly: Yes Cat Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: Unknown Meet Georgie – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Safe Place Georgie is an almost 7-year-old mixed breed with a tender heart. Weighing in around 25 pounds and working toward a healthy 20, Georgie may be small, but she’s full of quiet resilience. Georgie is a shy and sensitive girl who has likely experienced more than her fair share of hardship. She’s still learning that people can be kind and gentle, so she’s not a cuddler (yet!) and prefers her own space — usually in a cozy kennel or soft dog bed. She’s not the type to seek out affection, but with patience, she becomes a quiet companion who follows her trusted human from room to room like a little shadow. She feels most comfortable around other dogs and would do best in a home with a calm, confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. With time, she’ll even get playful in the backyard with a dog friend she trusts. Her nighttime ritual includes a beloved dental chew — even though she’s a bit tooth-challenged, it’s her favorite treat. Georgie is fully potty trained and is beginning to respond to her name and simple commands, though she’ll need to drag a leash for a while as she continues to build confidence. Her progress may be slow, but every step is a quiet victory. Georgie needs a calm environment with patient, understanding humans who can offer her consistency, space, and the freedom to come out of her shell in her own time. If you believe love is about meeting someone where they are — and waiting as long as it takes — Georgie might just be your perfect match.
