I got him when he was 6 weeks old and he’s turning 3 soon. He’s very sweet when you get to know him and he’s a good guard dog. He’s very hyper though, I don’t have enough yard for him now and my daughter turned 1 recently and has begun walking. He’s too big and not careful with my child because he gets too excited and I don’t want him to accidentally hurt her trying to play. He is great with cats. He’s even gentle with kittens. He is iffy with other dogs but if you get him acquainted with them properly then he makes pretty good friends. I feel like the best home for him would be somewhere with a decent sized yard and older kids if you have any. He loves to play and run. He loves water and snow. He’s a great dog I’m just a single mother and it’s too much for me anymore.

Andie is the best girl and wants to love everyone. Like her sister, she is a little shy at first but deep down just wants to be loved on. She is good with other dogs, we are unsure how she is with cats. She is working on leash training and gaining confidence every time. Then email your application to animalshelter@callowaycountyky.gov, Adoption Fee: $60.00 Cash or Check (this includes the microchip! It also covers vaccines, fecal, and any medical attention the animal required while in our care.) An $80.00 good-faith deposit will be collected at the time of adoption. (If paying this fee by check, the check will be cashed.) This added spay/neuter step will assist in stopping the tide of animals that end up in shelters. Once the spay/neuter has been completed, take or mail proof of surgery to 81 Shelter Lane Murray, Ky 42071. Your $80.00 deposit will be reimbursed, on the next fiscal court month. We currently cannot break bills or provide change. If paying cash, please bring the $60 and $80 as separate payments. Thank you!
