**ADOPTION FEE PARTIALLY SPONSOREDPugly joined the FFAA family with 5 other littermates at the tender age of 4 weeks. He had been found orphaned in a shed and had to be bottle fed! Now a healthy, strong, and energetic young dog nearing 9 months old, he more than deserves to find a home! He’s been here for almost 8 months--almost his ENTIRE life. He is a black lab mix and has the typical energy level associated with the breed. But just as other black labs contain duality, so does he. All go-go-go when the time is right (walks and playtime), food motivated (easy to train), and then total cuddle puddle when some petting is involved, he's the total package! Having grown up in a shelter, he is frantically bored. He heartily enjoys his walks thanks to our volunteers, but he is eager to go out and explore the big wide world beyond the shelter; he knows that there is so much more to life than the four walls of his kennel, the play yard, and his short playgroups with his brother and their friends. All his littermates but one (Mr. Belvedere) have all gone on to find wonderful homes with other dogs, cats, and children in their lives. All he needs is one chance to show you how good of a companion he can be.

Story
**ADOPTION FEE PARTIALLY SPONSOREDMr. Belvedere is a handsome young lab mix with a sparkling personality. If you like labs, you will LOVE Mr. B! Mr. Belvedere and his littermates were found at around four weeks of age. Thankfully, fosters bottle fed and cared for them until they were big enough to come back to the shelter. Now, it's just Mr. Belvedere and one littermate, Pugly, left over. They don't understand why their littermates all got to home but they're still stuck here, spending their entire puppyhood inside a kennel. Sure, they get to make friends and have lots of people who give them affection all day long, but it's just not the same as having a home and family of their own. Almost 9 months old and having spent almost 8 months at the shelter, Mr. Belvedere wants desperately to find freedom and a family of his own. Mr. Belvedere has adopted a policy of "holler first, investigate second"-- his big, booming "awoowoowooooo" seems ridiculous coming from a dog his size, and even more ridiculous is how once he's in touching distance of whatever he is yelling at, he quiets up immediately. Having grown up in a shelter, Mr. Belvedere is chronically bored. He loves his walks (his best opportunity to go stick hunting), and he is having a great time making new friends during playgroup. But he's a smart boy who knows that the world is a lot bigger than what he can see in front of him at the shelter. All his littermates but one have gone on to find wonderful homes with other dogs, cats, and children in their lives. All he needs is one chance to show you how good of a best friend he can be.

Story
Parker, our sweet girl who was at Morse Park for over 4 weeks, is ready for adoption! She has been in a foster since day 1 of rescue. Here’s a little information from the foster family! “Parker has a long road to go with her trust issues. She's slowly trusting us, but she still shies away. She MUST be on a leash at all times outside or she will run from you and you WILL NOT be able to catch her. She doesn’t eat kibble (even mixed in with wet food). She only eats wet food. Something that should definitely be worked on to introduce kibble (only wet food is very bad on their teeth). She’s only had 2 accidents in the house but only when we have been gone for several hours. Each time we go outside, she will potty. She definitely LOVES couches, dog beds, and our bed. She sleeps on our bed every night. She prefers to be around the family, not by herself. That’s the only time she will bark. She’s indifferent to kids, dogs, and cats. Does not have a mean bone in her body. Loves cheese of any kind. Rides in the car very well!" She does have a microchip. It is not registered. She is previously spayed. She got a clean bill of health from the vet. Blood work was all normal! Estimated around 8yrs+. She will need an adopter that understands we do not know what happened to her. It will take a lot of time for her to trust, she needs patience and lots of TLC. She doesn’t want to play, she doesn’t care about toys, she still doesn’t wag her tail. She prefers to sleep all day.If you’re interested in adopting Parker, please go to our website www.ffaaneosho.org and fill out an adoption application or come into the shelter to meet her. She is here Wednesday-Saturday 10-5.Please understand this situation is unusual. This will not be first come first serve, but the right fit for Parker. She will continue to stay in foster care until we have found that right fit.
