Story
Meet Christina Waguilara —she isn’t just cute, she’s dangerously adorable. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and fully prepared to make you her emotional support human whether you signed up for it or not. Basically, if you’re in the market for unconditional love with a side of comedic timing and soft fur, Christina Waguilara is your girl. At just 4 months old and 24 pounds, this flat-coated retriever mix has already lived through more drama than most reality TV stars — except hers wasn’t scripted. Christina came to us with severe burns and road rash, the kind that make you question how anyone could hurt something this innocent. Whether it was fire, pavement, or just plain cruelty, we’ll never know for sure. What we do know is that this little girl went through absolute agony… and somehow came out the other side full of tail wags, kisses, and pure puppy joy. Her fur is slowly growing back (we’ll see if it all returns — if not, she’ll just be rocking the “phoenix rising” look). And honestly? She makes it work. Christina has that unbothered, resilient energy — the kind that says, “Scars? Oh these? Just proof I’m tougher and prettier than my past.” Despite everything, she’s still the first to lean in for a cuddle, give you a sloppy kiss, and look up at you like you personally hung the moon. She’s sweetness and sass wrapped in a little burnt marshmallow package — the kind of dog who reminds you that love heals faster than any ointment. Christina Waguilara is ready for her next chapter — one filled with soft beds, gentle hands, and people who understand that this brave little survivor isn’t broken… she’s just beautifully battle-tested. When it comes to other dogs, Christina is the life of the party and the emotional support bestie. She’s always down for some good-natured floor wrestling, then immediately shifts into cuddle mode with her doggie roommates, Scruffy and Cutie Pie, like they’re starring in a doggy rom-com. Now, cats? We can’t say for sure — none in her current circle — but given her personality, she’d probably assume they’re just oddly shaped dogs and try to befriend them. Or lick them. Or both. Kids? Also not in her current entourage, but considering her general “everyone’s my friend” energy, she’d likely do great as long as they’re gentle and understand that she’s more of a sip puppuccino slowly and relax girl than a sprint across the yard screaming kind of companion. As for the human experience, Christina is a total people-pleaser in the making. She greets new faces with a wagging tail, an open heart, and the subtle charm of someone who knows she’s adorable. Even at the vet — yes, the vet — she’s all smiles and tail wags, like, “Oh, hi! You’re about to poke me with a needle? That’s fine, I’m still gonna love you.” As she’s settled into her foster home, she’s become more talkative too. And trust us, a pup with her face and her ears talking to you, you will be nothing but a puddle of mush because she is too cute! When it comes to car rides, Christina takes her role as co-pilot very seriously. She starts in the back like a polite passenger, but by the time you hit the first stoplight, she’s somehow in the front seat — because what better way to supervise your driving than by sitting inches from your face. Adventure versus homebody? Christina is currently in her “still figuring it out” phase — a young puppy who’s just starting to discover that the world is bigger than her yard. She’s getting braver with every outing, and while she might not be scaling mountains just yet, she’s perfectly happy being your sidekick for coffee runs or yard adventures. Her favorite activities include playing fetch (she’s shockingly good at it for a puppy who still sometimes trips over her own paws) and enjoying the great outdoors like the backyard royalty she is. She’s not a digger — because dirt? Ew, no thank you. A fenced yard works perfectly for her, though she’d probably settle into any home that offers love, treats, and a comfy spot for her next dramatic nap. Christina doesn’t guard food or toys, because honestly, she’s too busy being the social chair of her foster home. Christina Waguilara is the kind of puppy who can brighten a whole room just by entering it — which means she’s enthusiastic about everything. Life, toys, playtime, you — especially you. She approaches every day like it’s her own personal holiday, and she’s the guest of honor. She isn't necessarily energetic as much as she is just happy to be, and partake in her family's activities. Your mission—should you choose to accept it—is to turn Christina Waguilara into the best potty-trained, well-mannered, and socially elite puppy in town. You’ll be molding this little songbird into the kind of dog who can stroll through a farmer’s market without embarrassing you, charm every stranger within a ten-foot radius, and make even your skeptical father—the one who swore up and down that you “didn’t need another dog”—show up at your house just to see her. Not you. Her. Christina Waguilara is the total package—adorable, kiss-happy, kennel-trained, sofa-loving, and hilariously determined to make you her person. If you’re looking for a little lovebug who’ll turn your house into a home (and your lap) into a cuddle throne, then grab the treats, roll up your sleeves, and get ready. She’s got the looks, the personality, and the emotional depth of a rom-com lead, and she’s ready to find her co-star. So go ahead — fill out that adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app before someone else realizes they need this fluffy little pop princess in their life. Once approved, we’ll send it straight to her foster family, and then you can come scoop up your new best friend in Tulsa, OK. Just be warned: once you meet her, resistance is futile. Stella is a young flatcoat, abandoned on the streets of Dallas, due to this, she can be very dog selective, as she appears to have been attacked. She is fully vetted, house and crate trained, LOVES people, and plays well with male dogs, her age/size, but I would prefer she be an only pet due to her reactivity. She LOVES people, big and small, and is a total love sponge.. located in Oklahoma, we do not ship, we do require an application. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSewtencJ5Ghyf2-_WsOI_UyFpbku5nJkB-USLzJuxIEG9wFLQ/viewform?mibextid=Zxz2cZ

Story
Ah yes, Buffalo Bill — the four-legged heart thief who’s out here giving therapy dog energy with the face of an angel and the emotional depth of a Nicholas Sparks protagonist. This guy’s charm level is borderline criminal. He’ll lean in for cuddles like it’s a full-contact sport, melting into you with the kind of sincerity that makes you forget about personal space altogether. He’s the kind of dog who’d write you love letters if he had thumbs — instead, he just stares straight into your soul and lets his tail do the talking. Basically, Buffalo Bill is out here proving that “man’s best friend” was underselling it. He’s more like “man’s emotional support blanket wrapped in fur and pure adoration.” At just 6 weeks old and a whopping 7 pounds of fluff and mischief, this Border Collie (possibly Lab) mix is proof that charm is, in fact, genetic. His mama, the legendary Belle Starr, was rescued from the “urgent list” just in time to bring her little gang of heart thieves into the world — and Bill’s been stealing hearts ever since. He’s got the softest fur, the sweetest disposition, and the kind of soulful eyes that could convince even the toughest cowboy to hand over their last chicken nugget. Buffalo Bill is a six-week-old heartthrob who thinks everyone he meets is part of his fan club — and honestly, he’s not wrong. He adores other dogs, mostly because they make excellent wrestling partners, snack-sharing buddies, and role models for how to look heroic while zooming across the yard. When it comes to kids, Bill’s convinced they were invented purely for his entertainment. He loves their energy, their sticky fingers, and the fact that they drop snacks like rookie waiters. He’s gentle but curious, the kind of puppy who will follow them from room to room just to make sure they don’t do anything fun without him. And cats? Well, Bill’s got options. He might choose one to be his new best friend, or he might sit there and study them like a furry little philosopher, trying to figure out how they manage to look both judgmental and fabulous at the same time. Either way, he’s not here for drama — just wholesome friendship and maybe a shared nap in a sunbeam. Basically, Buffalo Bill is an equal-opportunity lover of all creatures great and small. If it breathes, he wants to snuggle it. If it moves, he wants to follow it. And if it’s got a snack — well, now it’s his best friend for life. Buffalo Bill’s energy level sits solidly at a 3 out of 10, which means he’s basically the emotional support therapist of the puppy pile. He’s the kind of puppy who radiates calm. Most of his day is dedicated to spreading good vibes and acting like a walking weighted blanket. He’ll lean in for hugs, melt into your lap, and then stare at you with those big soulful eyes that make you rethink every life decision that didn’t involve adopting him sooner. And yes, he’s a charmer. The kind who doesn’t even try — he just blinks those long lashes, tilts his head, and you’re done for. He’s got that “old soul in a fluffy body” thing going. Now listen here, partner — before you go ridin’ off into the sunset with little Buffalo Bill, you best know what kind of adventure you’re signin’ up for. Sure, he’s cute enough to win a county fair ribbon just for existing, but he’s still a puppy — which means you’ll be dealin’ with all the classic rookie outlaw shenanigans. As for socialization, this little cowpoke’s got some learnin’ to do out on the range. New sights, sounds, and critters can make a pup’s mind spin faster than a tumbleweed in a dust storm, so you’ll need to show him the ropes — kindly, patiently, and with plenty of treats. Yes, he’s working on potty training, but like any rookie sharpshooter, his aim might not always hit the mark. So saddle up with patience, paper towels, and a sense of humor — you’re gonna need all three. So if you’re ready to saddle up for the grand adventure of raising a puppy — complete with snuggles, mischief, and the occasional “what in tarnation happened to my sock?” moment — Buffalo Bill’s your boy. He’s lookin’ for a family that can handle the rodeo and still end every night with belly rubs and love. He’s not quite ready to ride off into the sunset just yet; this little gunslinger still needs a few more weeks in foster care to grow big and strong. But by the first weekend in November, he’ll be packing his mini saddlebag and ready to gallop straight into your arms. So if you’re ready to add a legend-in-the-making to your posse, saddle up and fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app so we can send it over to his foster family. Then dust off your boots, hop in your wagon (or, you know, your car), and head to Oklahoma City, OK, because that’s where this tiny outlaw will be waiting to meet his forever folks. Don’t miss your chance — this level of adorable outlaw doesn’t linger long in these parts.

Story
If there were a poker table for pups, Lottie Deno would be sittin’ front and center—grinnin’, tail waggin’, and somehow winnin’ every hand without even tryin’. This little cowgirl’s got adventure written all over her, and she’s not afraid to cash in all her puppy chips for a good time. She’s got a nose for excitement and a knack for findin’ it, whether that’s a mysterious leaf that must be investigated, a toy that clearly insulted her honor, or a sibling who looks like they need a good wrestlin’ lesson. And that tail? It’s her tell. Always waggin’, always happy, like she’s permanently in on some inside joke the rest of us are too slow to get. Life’s a big adventure, and Lottie’s determined to enjoy every second of it—whether you’re ready or not. But under all that spunk, there’s a sweetheart as loyal as they come. Once she’s tuckered out from her daily adventures, she’ll curl up beside you, content and proud of her day’s work. Every Western’s got that one gal who strolls into town with a wink, a grin, and a whole lotta mystery—Lottie Deno is that gal. Don’t let her six pounds of fluff and big ol’ puppy eyes fool ya—this 6-week-old Border Collie mix (with a dash of Lab and a whole heap of personality) could outwit a card shark and outcharm a preacher. Born right here in rescue after her mama, Belle Starr, arrived fresh off the urgent list from the shelter lookin’ for a safe place to land, Lottie’s never known a rough trail—just warm hands, soft beds, and an open horizon full of possibilities. And let me tell ya, this little lady is making the most of it. Lottie Deno’s social life could put most frontier towns to shame—she loves dogs, loves kids, and pretty much assumes the whole world exists solely to admire her. Other dogs? Instant friends, whether they asked for it or not. Kids? Oh, she’s thrilled about kids. To Lottie, tiny humans are basically walking playmates with pockets full of snacks. She’s got the patience for sticky fingers and the stamina for backyard marathons. If there’s laughter, she’s there; if there’s fun to be had, she’s probably the one who started it. She believes her role in life is to make sure no child goes unlicked or unaccompanied. Now, as for cats—she hasn’t met one yet, but based on the rest of her personality, it’s safe to say she’d march right up like, “Howdy, whiskers, you look like fun,” and promptly invite herself to play. Whether that play session turns into a friendship or a mild chase scene depends entirely on the cat’s sense of humor. But given Lottie’s charm, she’d probably win ‘em over eventually. Basically, if it moves, Lottie wants to meet it. If it doesn’t move, she’ll probably boop it with her nose until it does. She’s a friendly little outlaw through and through—equal parts social butterfly and professional instigator, leavin’ a trail of wagging tails and smitten hearts everywhere she goes. Now, before you saddle up and ride off into the sunset with dreams of endless cuddles and a perfectly behaved pup, let’s have a little reality check, partner—Lottie Deno may be all charm and tail wags, but she’s still a baby outlaw in training. Her new family’s gonna need to be ready for all the wild adventures that come with raisin’ a pup on the frontier. First up, potty training. You’ll be spendin’ a lot of quality time outside, probably at very inconvenient hours, cheerin’ her on like a proud ranch hand. Next, there’s socialization—because even a confident gal like Lottie needs to learn the difference between “new friend” and “thing to bark at.” She’ll need meet-and-greets with polite pups, friendly folks, and maybe the occasional cat willing to tolerate her enthusiasm. So grab your boots and your patience, partner. Life with Lottie Deno ain’t for the faint of heart—but for the right family, it’s the sweetest, funniest, most heart-stealin’ adventure this side of the prairie. ❤️🐾 Now, before you come ridin’ into town to claim this little cowgirl, hold your horses—Lottie won’t be ready to head home ‘til around the first weekend in November. She’s still learnin’ her manners and buildin’ up her legendary outlaw reputation. But that gives you just enough time to dust off your boots, puppy-proof your ranch, and emotionally prepare for the cuteness stampede that’s about to hit your life. So if you’re ready to take a chance on this fiery little gambler and let her deal you a lifetime of laughs, love, and tons of silliness, go ahead and fill out that adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app faster than a jackrabbit in a dust storm. Once it’s approved, we’ll send it along to her foster family to get the handoff started. You’ll need to saddle up and make your way to Oklahoma City, OK to pick her up—no home delivery, no Pony Express, no teleportin’ (believe us, we’ve checked). But one look at that waggin’ tail and you’ll know the trip was worth every mile. Because with Lottie Deno by your side, you won’t just be adoptin’ a puppy—you’ll be signin’ up for your very own Wild West adventure. 💕🐾

Story
Meet Etta Place — the sweetheart of the Wild West, here to steal hearts faster than Butch Cassidy could rob a train. She’s playful too, but in that sweet, “let’s chase the tumbleweed but make it classy” kind of way. Etta’s the pup who’ll play, nap, and then gaze at you with those “I love you more than bacon” eyes. She thrives around people — whether she’s charming the neighbors, making new friends, or curling up for a long, lazy nap after a day of adventuring. In short, Etta’s the total package: affectionate, adorable, and full of heart. If you’ve been waiting for your loyal sidekick — someone to keep you warm, entertained, and slightly guilt-tripped every time you leave the room — congratulations, you just found her. Etta Place — six weeks young, five pounds of fluff, and already the kind of gal who could charm an outlaw and outwit a cowboy. Born right here in rescue after her mama, the lovely Belle Starr, trotted her pregnant self off the shelter’s urgent list and into safety, Etta’s been living the good life from day one — milk bar access, adoring fans, and absolutely zero responsibilities. She’s a Border Collie mix (with a dash of Lab), which means she’s got both brains and heart in dangerous supply. You can already tell she’s the kind who’ll grow into that perfect balance of sweet and clever — a cuddle connoisseur with just enough sass to keep things interesting. Her hobbies currently include wobble-running across the floor, pouncing on her siblings like a dramatic Western duel, and curling up for a power nap mid-adventure because being this cute is exhausting. With an energy level of about a 3 out of 10, she’s not here to run marathons; she’s here to be your fuzzy shadow, professional snuggler, and emotional support potato. She’s sweet, cuddly, and just the right amount of playful — the kind of pup who’ll follow you around the house like she’s your unpaid intern, making sure you never perform any tasks unsupervised. If you’ve been searching for a calm, snuggly sidekick who doubles as a portable heater and personal cheerleader, Etta’s your girl. She’s everything people claim they want in a puppy — sweet, affectionate, low-maintenance, and way too cute to ever stay mad at. Etta Place is that social butterfly who thinks everyone she meets is her new best friend — dogs, kids, random humans in the grocery store parking lot, probably even the Amazon driver. She’s basically running her own friendship empire and business is booming. She adores dogs like they’re her personal fan club, thinks kids are the funniest little humans on Earth, and would likely treat a cat like the mysterious celebrity she’s dying to impress. She’s that overly nice person who remembers your birthday, compliments your outfit, and somehow convinces everyone to adore her. Resistance is futile; she’s going to win you (and your entire household) over. Now, before you go galloping off into the sunset with Miss Etta Place, let’s have a quick heart-to-heart, partner. She may look like a pint-sized angel wrapped in fluff, but she’s still a six-week-old outlaw-in-training — and that means her new family needs to be ready for all the wild west shenanigans that come with raising a puppy. You’ll need to teach her where to do her business, what’s okay to chew, and how to act like a civilized lady instead of a tiny tumbleweed of chaos. And socialization? Oh, she’s gonna need plenty of that. New sights, new smells, new friends — Etta’s building her posse and you’re the sheriff in charge of introductions. It’s your job to show her the world, help her meet the locals (human and furry alike), and teach her that its okay to leave the house. Etta’s not just learning how to dog — she’s learning how to life. And with the right family to guide her, she’s bound to grow into a loyal, affectionate partner-in-crime. So grab your boots, your sense of humor, and your best chew-proof hat — this little lady’s fixin’ to take over your heart. Etta will be ready to ride off into the sunset around the first weekend in November, and trust us — you’re gonna want to be there when she trades her tiny boots for a forever home. To stake your claim on this little heart-stealer, fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app so we can send it to her foster family for review. Pickup will be in Oklahoma City, OK — no Pony Express delivery, no teleportation, and definitely no “can you just ship her?” nonsense. If you’re ready to put in the miles, she’s ready to put in the cuddles. So dust off that saddle, cowboy, because Etta Place is fixin’ to make you the luckiest partner this side of the Mississippi.
