Possum came to rescue when she was saved from a life chained up outside. This skinny girl from Oklahoma has definitely been through a lot. She has a cloudy eye from a previous injury, is very thin and heartworm positive. Her loving foster is nursing her back to health while we find her furever. This girl is as sweet as they come. Gentle as can be and very friendly. She would do well with any family that can give her a space on the couch or a nearby dog bed. Possum is ready to start a new chapter with you!

Pablo hasn’t been around children, so an adult-only household or one with older teens would be the best fit. Despite being let down so deeply, Pablo remains hopeful and affectionate, ready to give his whole heart to someone who won’t give up on him.

Rudy is approximately 9 years old, and was adopted from Michiana Humane Society in 2018. She grew up with another dog and 3 kids. She has spent the last 2 years with cats. She is extremely docile with adults and LOVES affection. She has recently shown food aggression around the kids and has attacked the cats 2 times in the last 2 weeks. She would thrive in an adult only home, with humans who stay home often or are able to take her on adventures with them. She loves belly rubs and long walks. She has never bitten a human but has bitten the cats. She will growl if anyone nears her food. This is extremely devastating for our family, but I can’t risk her aggression generalizing to the kids, as it’s posing a safety risk to my family. She is very loyal to the person she bonds to, and I’ve never met a person who didn’t fall in love with her. I want her to find a safe, loving family that can give her the time and attention she deserves as she continues aging, to help with her anxiety 🩷
