Meet Lavern (Angel) 💗🐾Lavern—also known as Angel—is a lovable 2-year-old Basset Hound/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart of pure gold. She was owner released, and her previous family shared so much helpful information to make sure she finds the perfect new home. This sweet girl is truly an Angel in every sense!Lavern/Angel does wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats, making her a fantastic fit for a variety of families. She’s also crate trained and knows several commands, including sit, lay down, wait, and paw—what a smart girl! While we don’t know if she’s fully house trained, her previous owners did mention that she tends to pee everywhere, but with patience and consistency, that’s something she can learn. She also struggles with separation anxiety, so she’ll need a family who can give her reassurance and understanding.This cuddle bug loves hugs and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She can get motion sickness in the car, so short, slow, or limited car rides may be best for her comfort. Her favorite toys are nylon toys, and she absolutely loves to chew—so be aware, she has a history of eating paper and remotes! Her previous owners also mentioned that her family will need outlets for her energy and affection.Lavern/Angel is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs a perfect 30 pounds.If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly, family-friendly sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be someone’s whole world, Lavern/Angel could be your perfect match.
