Story
Tiki is a happy weirdo who loves goofing off, playing with his toys, and running around and sniffing out everything his nose can find. He is secretly in training to be the world's fastest dog and would love an outlet for that. Tiki is good with most dogs and cats, even trying to play with his cat roommates. Need a signal the mail or a package has been delivered? Tiki has you covered. He lets UPS, Amazon, and the Post Office know he's there to accept delivery. (FedEx he lets slide though...what's their secret??) Tiki is happiest out exploring the world and trying to get other dogs to chase him at the dog park, but is happy to park himself on the couch all day long in between. Unfortunately, Tiki has a hard time with thunderstorms and needs a friend to snuggle with him while they pass. He has a hard time with loud noises in general and can get startled easily. This makes taking him to venues with lots of people challenging. But Tiki's fun-loving attitude, big heart, and funny antics will have you falling in love in no time. He is a good boy who needs a loving home.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Story
Hey there, I'm Tucker, a handsome foxhound eagerly awaiting my chance to find my forever family! While my age is still a bit of a mystery, we'll be sure to update everyone soon. I'm scheduled to be neutered and brought up to date on all my vaccinations shortly. Around other dogs, I tend to be a bit shy, but when it comes to people, I'm all smiles and tail wags. No aggression here, just a sweet pup looking for love and companionship. There's not much else known about me, but wouldn't you like to change that? Let's skip the shelter life and get to know each other. Apply or message today, and let's see if we're the perfect match!April 28, 2024, 11:27 am

Story
Tator Tot is energetic, playful and always happy! He loves to play with kids and other dogs and has mastered walking on a leash. He came into rescue with a badly broken led and has had multiple surgeries to correct it. After a long period of restricted activity to allow his leg to heal, he has a new lease on life and is enjoying it to the fullest! He has also completed "Good Boy" training with Bayou Training Academy and has learned how to appreciate his new found freedom after many months of rehabilitation restriction and is doing wonderful! To complete an adoption application Just click the "Adoption Application" link next to my photos above or Visit our website at www.onceuponatailrescue.com Don't forget to follow us on Facebook & Instagram! #outdogrescue If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
