Story
Meet Trixie! She’s a sweet Basset Hound and Pit Bull mix with a big heart and plenty of personality. Trixie is house trained and does well in a crate, and while she’s still gaining experience on the leash, she’s already a natural. She gets along with other dogs when introduced properly, is good with cats, and does well with kids, men, and women alike. Trixie is an energetic girl who loves car rides and being part of whatever you’re doing. She knows how to sit and is eager to learn more with a little training and consistency. Like many hounds, she’s very vocal and loves to “talk.” Sometimes her howl can sound a little intimidating at first, but once you get to know her, you’ll see it’s just her unique way of expressing herself. Most of all, Trixie is a Velcro dog—she wants to be close to her people and soak up all the love and attention she can. She’s affectionate, loyal, and ready to find a family who will cherish her playful spirit and sweet nature. She has had parvo/distemper, bordatella, a rabies shot, microchip, dewormer, heartworm testing, and is spayed. Her adoption fee is $165.
