Story
Suzy is a sweetie seeking a savior to spend her senior years snuggling with. Suzy is true to the hound dog name when it comes to food. She enjoyed it so much in her previous home, she came in at 105 pounds!! She was adopted from us 5 years ago and weighed 47 pounds. But with a strict diet and a wonderful foster home, she is already down to 90 pounds, with more to go. Being so overweight has put strain on her body, and she is on medication to make her feel better. Once she sheds more pounds, she may not need to remain on this medication. Suzy adores people, is good with other dogs, and did not pay any attention to the cats she met here. Her foster home loves her, but they are only in the area for a couple more weeks, and then she will have to come back permanently. A home before then is our goal for her. Thanks to Brattleboro Subaru and a kind donor, her adoption fee has been fully covered. This amazing 7-8-year-old will bring much joy to her new family, and she will forever be grateful to have a loving home to spend her golden years in. Adoption fee-covered.
