Story
Lapis is a 1-year-old hound mix who is full of energy and curiosity. This playful boy loves to explore his surroundings and would be happiest in a home that enjoys walks, adventures, and fun playtime. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion. Lapis has not been cat tested, so if there are cats in the home, slow and proper introductions at home are recommended. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, adventurous pup who’s ready to explore the world by your side, Lapis could be the one for you!

Story
Milo was born in May 2023 and is full of young-dog energy and personality! He’s fixed and ready to find his forever home. This sweet, goofy boy loves to play and absolutely adores his toys. If there’s a ball, rope, or squeaky toy around, he’s all in! He also loves to bark and will happily let you know what’s going on — he’d make a great little “alert system” for your home. Milo has been around kids, cats, and other dogs and has done well with them. He can be unsure around new animals and strangers at first, so slow introductions and a little patience will help him feel secure. Once he trusts you, he is incredibly loving and protective of his people. He is an indoor dog who loves being close to his family, but he definitely needs space outside to run and burn off his energy. A fenced yard or active family would be ideal. Milo would benefit from some continued training to help him be his very best self — he’s smart and young, so he has tons of potential!
