Story
Norah is the sweetest pup! Her demeanor and personality are that of a playful, happy go lucky dog. She loves car rides, playing with her people and all the attention. She has a cute way of pawing at you when she wants your eyes on her or just simply pets. She is super easy as far as listening and obeying goes. She responds to kennel up, stop, no, sit, shake and lay down (especially for treats! and she loves Dentasticks!). She sleep and snores through the day and requires a couple stints of play time through the day, twice for 20 minutes or so, especially in the evening. She is ready for bed by 9pm and will snore the night away! She is a great addition to any household as she loves everyone, as long as they give her plenty of attention! She is a loving, snuggly, all around perfect pet! ##2161123##

Story
Biggie is a handsome fella who had one heck of a rough start to life.  He was surrendered to a partner shelter due to landlord issues.  Even entering the building then was hard for him--the slip leash going over his head was terrifying and doorways posed a challenge.  Over the next couple of days, he remained extremely guarded with physical touch and new items like microchip scanners entering his space.  With time, he began to settle in with the staff and volunteers, leaning into them for love when out of his kennel.  Unfortunately, a hectic shelter was not a place where he could succeed.  We were contacted as he began bar biting, painting his kennel, body slamming his door and showing more fear when in his kennel. Biggie was extremely shy/reticent when he was transported in to our foster--he slept in the car but required patience and lots of treats when trying to move from vehicle to vehicle, extremely unsure of the situation.  He allowed us to get a BullHug on him, again with lots of patience, and headed to his foster home.  Within a few hours, after a quick bath outside, Biggie's puppy side came out--he couldn't get enough of zooming around the yard and playing with the water! Biggie had been reported to be ok with dogs his size and larger but has shown reactivity to a neighboring lab and with a golden.  At this time, we believe Biggie would be best as an only dog, ready to receive all of your TLC as he comes to know and trust you. Biggie has done well with school-aged and older children but has not been exposed to cats or younger kids.  He's a full-sized guy with lots of energy so smaller kids may be inadvertently toppled over in his excitement. Biggie, like many bulldogs and squishfaces, has demonstrated some fall allergies and is currently on Apoquel and the normal bulldog skin care routine to keep his paws, ears, and facial folds in tip top shape! ##2566390##

Story
Coco is a shy girl who is looking to gain confidence in the world around her after a "ruff" start in life.  She was adopted from a shelter elsewhere as a reported mill/breeder release.  She's the most gentle peanut who loves nothing more than to sit on the oversized bean bag or couch and receive little pets.  Coco requires patience from her adoptive family as she learns to acclimate to a new situation--this may include needing to bed fed in her safe spot initially or walked on leash to the yard to take care of business.  She'll need older kids or school-aged kiddos who fall on the less excitable side of the scale. Coco tolerates her cares well and seems to enjoy her brief walks in the neighborhood.  She's just a bit fluffy so is on a late summer diet plan with encouragment from her amazing foster family.  We don't yet know much about how she feels about other dogs (indifferent at the vet) and doesn't seem interested in the resident cats in her foster home. ##2161127##
