Story
Hello there! My name is Gigi, and I'm a beautiful French Bulldog who is estimated to be between 8 and 10 years young. I know I haven't had the easiest start to life, and my past… well, let's just say it wasn't filled with the love and kindness every dog deserves.
Sadly, my rescue story started when I was seen being thrown out of a car, discarded like trash. When I arrived to SNARL, I was still healing from a very botched C-section, which doctors said looked as though it had been done in someone's kitchen by someone unlicensed, a clear sign I was used for illegal breeding. It was honestly a miracle that I was even alive.
But guess what? Those tough times are behind me now, and I'm ready to blossom in a home where I'll be cherished for the sweet and gentle soul I am. Despite everything, I am an incredibly sweet girl who just wants to love and be loved. I just want somewhere I can live out my golden years happily and loved.
My amazing rescuers have been working hard to make sure I'm feeling my absolute best. I just had a big week of surgeries to help me live a much more comfortable life. I had double entropion surgery to fix my eyelids, soft palate surgery to help me breathe easier, and stenotic nares surgery to open up my little nose. Oh, and they made sure I won't have any more puppies by getting me spayed! The vets did find a mild heart murmur, but they're keeping an eye on it, and it doesn't stop me from enjoying gentle walks and cuddles.
The good news doesn't stop there! I get along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. So, if you already have furry family members, that's fantastic! I'm really just looking for a peaceful and loving place to spend my golden years. I might not be a bouncy puppy anymore, but I promise to fill your home with quiet companionship, gentle snorts, and lots of love.
What I'm dreaming of is a calm and patient home where I can finally feel safe, secure, and adored. I deserve a soft bed, yummy food, and people who will see the beauty in my resilience and give me all the cuddles I've missed out on my entire life.
