Story
This is Coco, he is a feisty little Frenchy. He is sweet and loving to people. He is not good with other dogs. He needs to be the only dog in the home. He likes playing with toys and can jump very high for them. He is house and kennel trained. He loves his food! He is very easy to leash and walk around and goes potty easily while on the leash.

Story
Chloe is a cutie with a ton of personality. I am only rehoming because she really needs extended time outside and needs a home with a backyard. I am just not in the financial position to give that to her. I would not recommend her to a home with babies because she has got a ton of energy but she absolutely loves children and gets along really well with every pet I have had while I have had her. She is very snuggly and loves spending time cuddled up when she is not playing.

It is now time for your next chapter . Sully is approximately 10 months to one year-old. And weighs 18 pounds. She came to us after being hit by a car and was just running the streets. No chip not spayed, no tags, no owner. We believe she is a frenchton. French bulldog boston terrier mix. She has a wonderful demeanor and is just the sweetest girl. She is nervous meeting new dogs and people at first but that lasts all of 20 minutes and then she is everyones bff. She loves to play but is a gentle play partner. She loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses. She likes to be geld like a baby. She is usually quiet but gets really excited and barks at breakfast time or sometimes when you first get home, its just excited barking but she is not a big barker. She does not like to be crated at home but crates in the car well for car rides. Sully has hydrocephalus. It does appear to be mild. If you google hydrocephalus dogs, it is going to tell you all these terrible things that, after rescuing hydro dogs for the last 15 years, exist in a small percentage. For the most part Sully acts like a regular dog, just a little special. She does not have any seizures, she gets up and down off the couch . She gets in and out the doggy door. She is a little slow at some things and has a mild depth perception impairment from the hydrocephalus, but she lives a regular happy life and does not appear to be in any pain and has not had any neurological symptoms that some Hydro dogs get. Sully has also recently had an FHO . Because her hip was shattered from (presumably ) getting hit by a car. Currently, she is not putting weight on her left rear leg but the hope is that she will do so in the next 6 to 8 weeks as her scar tissue heals. She will get better and better at using this leg over time but she gets around very well. Her sutures come out on the 20th and she will be ready to go. She needs a special family. Ideally a home with a fenced yard, if children are in the home that they be gentle and dog savvy. The perfect scenario would be a home that is experienced with special needs dogs , especially hydro dogs bc they need a little extra patience ,love and understanding. As well as a home that is willing to help her through her healing journey as her leg will not be fully fully healed for several weeks still up to 3 months before seeing true progress. We all adore her. She is such a wonderful little girl with just a sweet sweet soul. We can’t wait for her to find her forever family. **PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.** If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer. Meet Bruce a 4 year old french bulldog weighing 30 pounds. Please read ENTIRE bio! Bruce was in San Antonio animal care center after being on bit quarantine. He is wiggly , funny and strong. He knows sit, ,paw, waits for treats and food, and has good potty and fantastic leash manners . He is an excellent dog for he right person. He needs a home familiar with the breed and willing to put some time and training into Bruce. Bruce needs to be an only dog unless he is adopted by an extremely experienced adopter willing to get a behavioral trainer in to work with him. Bruce in not an aggressive dog but does have some of the not always so great traits of a bully breed. He is not an overly dominant dog either. Bruce meets dogs on walks and in the visiting yard with a happy body, wanting to say hi, wiggle, downward dog, sniff the bums, he is happy to see the other dogs. When another growls at him, he actually will turn his head downward and away, and back away from the dog. His problem is territorial behavior and jealousy. He does not like to share his toys, or his person. If he has a toy, that toy is his and he does not want a human or a dog to take it from him. If a dog tries to interact with him or sniff a toy while he has the toy, he goes after the dog. If he is in your lap getting pets and cuddles and another dog or person, tries to come in, he will growl and snip at the air towards the person. The odd thing is he gets super duper sad after the fact and knows he did something wrong and he immediately wants love and attention and to play with said humans, dogs etc He is such a sweet and loving, cuddly boy. Bath, nails, paw and nose cream, vaccines, going to the vet, meeting people on walks, everyone can love on him, get in his face, I can take his food right out of his mouth and he zero reaction. He is not an aggressive dog, he just has this one really bad and really big deal behavioral issues but honestly aside from that he is a perfect muffin. We all love him so much. He can be stubborn at times. He does tend to bark a lot when you first leave the house. He appears to have some mild separation anxiety but he does calm down once he can't see or hear you anymore. He needs a home where his human is home a lot. He wants to be with his human as much as possible. He would be best adopted to a person with experience and NO KIDS. Which sucks because again he has met kids, he loves kids on walks and visiting but we do not know what unpredictable behavior he may have once he gets attached to those kids and deems them "his" and friends come over etc. So better safe than sorry and we say no children. He really has a huge heart and a lot of feelings. He is a sweet soul and I think maybe with some training and redirection with the right person he could really be a gem of a dog.
