Apple is famously gentle when taking treats, has great manners in the house, and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She’s potty trained, crate-trained, and learning her leash skills like a champ—especially since she’s highly food-motivated and eager to please. Apple gets along well with other dogs, especially once she’s had time to settle in. She prefers calm playmates who match her easygoing vibe—none of that big-dog, high-speed chaos for her, thank you very much. She’s more of a “let’s stroll around the yard and then nap in the shade” kind of gal. Now, about cats—Apple says, “no thank you.” She has officially decided that feline roommates are not her thing, and we respect that. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. I had received my dog from a family member who had to go under surgery and was unable to take care of him. He is one of the loveliest dogs ever. He is a very friendly dog, he loves to meet new people and other pets. He is one of a kind, he was the best of friend I had ever and one of the best dog for my first time. I am busy with work and family members getting older and a young toddler being at home. He will love you with all his heart and will wholeheartedly appreciate whatever he gets. He is funny too. I hope I can find him a home where he can receive a lot of love.

Personality & TemperamentNola is the definition of a velcro dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side every moment of the day, she’s your girl. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, moving from room to room, or working from home you can count on Nola to be right there with you, offering quiet affection and companionship. She does not do well with other animals and prefers to be the one and only pet in the home. She can also be overwhelmed by small children, so an adult-only household (or older teens) is best. Nola loves her people deeply and doesn’t like to share attention. She wants her special person all to herself. Ideal HomeNola will thrive in a calm, stable home where she can enjoy a predictable routine and quality time with her person. She is kennel trained. Quirks & CharmNola comes with some adorable quirks that will make you laugh on a daily basis: She has a radical belief that all water must be consumed the moment it appears. Small bowls of water are recommended. No large bodies of water should be in her reach.  Water sports are not recommended—playing with sprinklers or kiddie pools is not suitable for Nola. She will enthusiastically chase a water hose like it’s her sworn enemy. These little traits only add to her charm and personality. Medical & CareNola has a mild incontinence issue and will need to wear diapers or have access to puppy pads. She has adapted well to this routine and doesn’t let it slow her down. Her adopter should be prepared to support her with patience, understanding, and consistency. She will go potty outside as well but cannot hold her bladder due to overbreeding.
