Story
Approximate Age: 5 years Approximate Weight: 15 lbs Adoption Fee: $500 Hi, I’m Rollo! • I’m a young at heart with big feelings, big energy, and zero concept of personal space • I go 100 miles an hour with very short pit stops (me lying down is a rare, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it event) • My foster says I’m basically a linebacker who thinks he can do agility — confidence is key, right? • I’m incredibly sweet, goofy, and funny, even if I missed the memo on boundaries • I LOVE other dogs and show my affection in full-body, puppy-style enthusiasm • I may accidentally plow into anything in my path — I lead with my heart (and my shoulders) • Because of my enthusiastic love attacks, I’d do best in a home without babies or unsteady humans • I’m still learning manners, but I take corrections well and just want to be part of the fun If you want a dog who will make you laugh daily and keep life exciting, I’m your guy! You can still come adopt me or even join our foster program to help the humans learn all the awesome things about new dogs like me! Learn more on our website! Hope to see you soon! ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey. Story
Dior is an almost 4 years old -American Bully-he weighs around 58 lbs. Dior is a confident, energetic boy who came to the shelter as a stray alongside his brother, Jetta. Although their owners were identified, repeated attempts to reach them were unsuccessful and neither dog was reclaimed. Dior is affectionate and playful once he settles in, but he can be a bit bold when first meeting other dogs. Meet and greets with other dogs are required to ensure appropriate matches. Like his brother, Dior is still very puppy-ish and benefits from clear structure, consistency, and continued positive guidance. Dior would do best in a home that understands strong, energetic dogs and is committed to providing routine, enrichment, and ongoing socialization to help him thrive. Dior is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives.
