Story
Hi, I’m Jazzy! I was a little nervous when I got home but I loved climbing right into bed with my foster mom! I sleep through the night in my foster mom’s bed or the dog bed on the floor. I don’t love going into my crate but I don’t make much noise once I’m in there and manage several hours pretty easily. I am totally potty trained and getting used to pottying out on walks. Walks are pretty easy with me! I love to sniff and have good recall to whistles. When I see another dog I stand totally still and get nervous but if we meet off leash and get some good smells in I LOVE to play and still play pretty gentle. Right now I live with a 2 yo human with LOTS of energy. He made me a little nervous at first but within about 36 hours we became good buds and now we all sit on the couch to watch tv and he can even give me treats. I’m very gentle with treats. I like to be picked up and cuddled (I’m not too big!) which makes my foster mom feel really good about adventures because she can easily manage me even when I’m super strong. I would be really happy with a cuddly person or family with a yard!  ##1999413##

Story
Susie is so cute and a big LOVER who would make a great hiking companion.  She is excited about life and her wagging tail expresses her happiness.  She shows affection by giving hugs and kisses. Susie is the perfect age because she appears to be potty trained, done teething, and a quick learner because she wants to please. She is good natured and naturally well behaved so she hasn't had to be kenneled in her current foster home. She likes being active but she can just as well sleep in and give snuggles.  Susie enjoys having a yard to explore and run.  She has learned to entertain herself as her foster brother only likes to play a couple of times a day.  She is ready to find her forever home! Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com ##1701788##

Story
Finch is a 6(ish) year old Miniature Pincher/Chihuahua weighing 6lbs.  Finch was part of a hoarding case from Texas in February.  While he is super SUPER tiny, his legs are a mile long, so he looks like a little deer.   Coming from a hoarding case, Finch has a lot to learn but he is learning day by day.  He is the most nervous of all the dogs from this hoarding case, but you can tell he wants more than anything to love and trust, he is so sweet.  He gets along great with other dogs.  He is still learning to trust his human fosters, but having other dogs around to show him humans are safe, is really helping him.  Each day he is trusting more and more and seeking out more attention.  He will need a family who will be patient with him and give him the time he needs to come around.  He absolutely needs to go to a home with other dogs so he feels more comfortable. If you are interested in adopting Finch and giving him that patience and love he really needs, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1984104##

Story
Nugget is a 5lb tiny little baby on stilts.  We believe is about 1-2 years old and a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix.  Nugget came to us from a hoarding case so he is learning how to be a "normal" dog.  He is pretty timid but does come around with patience and love.  He will need a human who can help him grow into being a happy, confident dog over time.  We will require he goes to a home with another small dog he can learn from because one of the main ways these dogs learn to trust humans is by watching other dogs trust humans.  He looks like a tiny little Bambi.
