Story
Waylon is a sweet, calm boy who loves playing ball, exploring, and playing in the snow.  He came to us a stray, found near the river in Moraine. He rides very well in the car, and gets along with other animals although he prefers that they give him his space.  He is epileptic but his seizures are under control with twice daily medication.  He is looking for a home with a yard as he loves to wander endlessly smelling all the smells. His only other requirements are tennis balls and love.  He's a pretty simple boy.  ##2627595##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Minnie!  I’m a Min Pin/Chihuahua mix with a sweet heart that just needs a little time to shine. When I first meet new people, I can be shy and a bit nervous. I may run away and bark, but I promise I do want to be in your lap. I do really well with other dogs. Unsure about cats. I am not leash trained, but volunteers are working with me on that.  Once I trust you, my real personality comes out: happy hops, nonstop tail wags, and lots of excitement when I see my people. Please note, I do know how to climb fences.  Minnie has received extensive veterinary care while in our rescue. When she went in for her spay surgery, our veterinarian noticed an irregular heartbeat with bradycardia, although no obvious heart murmur was detected. To ensure we had a complete picture of her health, we proceeded with comprehensive bloodwork and a full echocardiogram. Her bloodwork results were completely normal, including a negative Chagas test. The echocardiogram showed a structurally and functionally normal heart. According to the cardiologist's report, the limited ECG available for review was consistent with a sinus arrhythmia. Overall, Minnie's cardiac evaluation was very reassuring and showed no significant abnormalities. I’m already spayed, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on vaccines, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and ready to start my new life! My adoption fee is $400. Apply to adopt me at: www.adoggie4you.org I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. (I’m unable to travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 19, 2026, 3:48 pm

Story
Little tripod PIERCE has recovered well from his amputation surgery and is ready to find his furever home! Pierce is a sweet, affectionate boy, about 8-10 months old and fully grown at 15 pounds. He spends his days charming his foster sisters and foster mom, playing with his toys, playing bitey face with his foster siblings and just generally loving life. His 3 favorite times of day are play time, cuddle time and dinner time. Pierce is a handsome mixed breed little guy, our best guess is a MinPin/Rat Terrier type mix. He navigates very well on 3 legs, he wasn't using the leg that was injured months ago and badly healed. Pierce is basicallly perfect, he's housebroken, crate trained and good with cats and other dogs. He would love to find a home with another similar-sized medium energy dog who loves to play. If you'd like to meet Pierce, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Pierce at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
