Story
I adopted my pet from a shelter; she's almost two years old. I wish they had the time I didn't have to give her attention and love. She's a bit playful and rough, but she's very intelligent.

Story
Sabrena is a small, what we believe to be a German Pincher mix, found as a stray. She is sweet and likes affection, but is very scared and timid in the shelter environment. She seems to be dog friendly and walked well on the leash.

Story
Meet Bella!Bella is a 3 year old mixed-breed dog weighing almost 40lbs. She came to Saving Hope in December with her 7 puppies. Now that her puppies have all been adopted, Bella is looking for her forever home! Bella has just moved into her temporary foster home, after being in boarding to recover from being spayed.Bella is dog-friendly with slow introductions but also wouldn`t mind being an only dog. She loves being around her human and getting lots of attention. I don`t have any cats or small children so I`m not sure how she would be. Bella is very eager to please and treat motivated so was quick to learn the routine with her two foster male golden retrievers. When I walk Bella by herself she does great with very little pulling, I only have to make small corrections. When I walk her with my dogs she does pull a little because she wants to lead. She is potty trained and will let you know she needs to go outside by standing at the back door and making the most adorable whimper. She is crate trained but does have some anxiety about being in there. Over the last week her anxiety has gotten better as she has started to trust me more and more.Bella has been just the absolute sweetest dog. She follows me around the house and honestly just wants to snuggle next to me as much as possible. She has had a rough start in life and deserves someone that loves her as much as she will love them.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
This little gentleman weighs just 12 lbs but has a heart big enough for everyone he meets. Max is about 3 years old and gets along with dogs of all sizes and cats. Despite having a little Chihuahua in his mix, he’s not a scrapper — Max just wants to be friends. He’s the total package: housetrained, leash trained, and crate trained. We think he had a family once, but sadly no one has come looking for him. Max was found in Ennis TX after being picked on by a larger dog while both were chasing after a female (don’t worry — he was neutered on 9/26, so that’s behind him now!). Max is happiest when he’s close to his people — cuddling, riding shotgun in the car, or tagging along as the perfect “purse dog.” If you’re looking for a loyal, pint-sized companion, Max is ready to hop in your lap and go wherever life takes you. Could Max be your new best friend? 🐾💜
