Story
Meet Ivy – Your Adventure Buddy & Professional Cuddle Expert! Ivy is a 5-month-old, 32-pound Pinscher/Hound mix (best breed guess) who has the perfect combination of brains, beauty, and a loving personality. She is a friendly, social, medium-to-large breed puppy who is already well on her way to becoming an incredible family companion. When Ivy first came into foster care, she was the shy little sister of three rambunctious girls. While her sisters stole the spotlight, Ivy quietly observed the world around her. Today, she’s blossomed into a confident, happy, affectionate young dog with a playful personality and just the right amount of sass. She has found her voice, loves being included in family activities, and is always excited to see what adventure comes next. One of Ivy’s favorite things is tagging along with her foster mom wherever she goes. She loves car rides, enjoys meeting new people, and is wonderfully friendly with other dogs. She currently lives in a busy foster home with dogs both larger and smaller than she is and gets along beautifully with everyone. For such a young puppy, Ivy already has exceptional manners. She is: House trained Crate trained Leash trained Rides well in the car Friendly with dogs of all sizes Social with new people Smart and eager to learn Although Ivy has become much more independent and confident, she still insists she’s a baby when cuddle time rolls around! She loves to be held, snuggled, and showered with affection. After a day of play or adventure, she’s happiest curled up next to her favorite people. Ivy would thrive with an active family, a couple, or an individual looking for a loyal companion to share life’s adventures. She would love another friendly dog to play with, but she’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only.  She has the ideal balance of playful puppy energy and a calm, affectionate temperament, making her a fantastic fit for many different lifestyles. If you’re looking for a dog who is already house trained, dog-friendly, people-friendly, well-socialized, affectionate, and ready to become your very best friend, Ivy checks every box. Watching Ivy grow from a timid puppy into the confident, loving girl she is today has been a joy. Now she’s ready for the final chapter of her rescue journey—a forever family to love her for the rest of her life. Story
Please meet Demi, listed as a German Pinscher/Australian Kelpie mix that came in on 2/27 as a stray. Demi weighs 27 pounds, is about 10 months old and is spayed. This pretty-in-pink girl isc an lively and active girl, with the sweetest disposition. She is looking for that perfect fit for her forever home. Her wish list is as follows: a couple of comfy doggy beds, daily playtime and exercise, some cool toys, good treats, an inside life, and plenty of TLC and patience while she learns the house rules and some commands. She walks quite nicely on a leash. She is affectionate, social, wants to be on your lap and gives kisses! She was more than happy to allow me to give her loving attention. She showed no interest in the other dogs barking at her yet we do always ask if there is another dog in the home please ask the shelter for a dog test This tail-wagging, playful girl has a sweet puppy disposition. Can you see your way clear to aid her in finding that perfect forever home?

Story
Hello, My name is Blue; I am a 8.5 year old boy, weigh about 80 pounds, and I was adopted back in 2024 from the Arlington Texas Rangers Mega Adoption Event. I am a great dog; I love to run around, bark, go on walks, sleep, eat treats, and sleep. Please consider me as a potential furever pet for you. -Blue The reason for the surrender is because Blue is a VERY energetic dog, even while being 8 years old. He is way too big for our other dogs and he tramples them often because of his excitement. This is never on purpose, he just thinks he's a puppy in a big adult body. He struggles to listen because his previous owners never taught him to listen to commands, but he will obey eventually. He really is a great dog, but we simply have too many right now and are looking to move in the future.

These pups are in Frisco, Texas too!

Story
Sloan has settled in beautifully with her foster family and is thriving alongside her canine foster brothers and sisters and is ready to find her forever home! Sloan is a 7 year old, 18 lb, Patterdale Terrier/Dachshund/Corgi/Border Terrier/Beagle mix. She is as sweet as she is adorable and has quickly become a favorite in her foster home. Sloan is an easy-going social girl who gets along great with other dogs and would enjoy having a playmate, but she can get jealous at times so she will need an owner who is a strong pack leader. She is an affectionate girl whose absolute favorite place is snuggled up next to her people. Because she prefers a more low-key environment, she is looking for a home with no children under ten years old. If you are looking for a loyal, loving little companion to share your couch, your walks, and your heart, please consider adopting Sloan. Story
Ziggy has made a lot of progress since joining Rescue Row, and we are proud of how far he’s come. As we have shared before, Ziggy can be reactive when meeting new people, particularly when he is being held and someone approaches him. We believe this behavior is rooted in fear and insecurity, likely influenced by experiences in his previous home. Because of this, Ziggy needs a family that understands his triggers and is committed to helping him continue building confidence through patience, positive reinforcement, and proper introductions. Ziggy has attended training session where they focused helping him have positive experiences meeting new people. Ziggy isn’t a difficult dog, he’s a young dog who is still learning to feel safe and comfortable in new situations. His foster family continues to work with him every day, and he already has additional training sessions scheduled. Ziggy does very well with the dogs in his foster home and gains confidence from having canine companions around. Because of this, Ziggy will need another playful, confident dog in his forever home. He loves to wrestle, play, and snuggle up with his dog friends. Per Wisdom Panel, Ziggy is 6 different breeds, with the top two breeds being 54% Miniature Pinscher and 29% Shih Tzu. Ziggy isn’t the right fit for every home, but for a family willing to continue the work his foster family has started, he has the potential to be an amazing companion. Because of his shy nature, he is looking for a home with children 12 years and older. If you are interested in adding this little guy to your family, applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Milo is looking for his person, and we want to be honest about the good, the bad, and the challenging parts of who he is so we can find him the right home. Let’s start with the good! Milo is an incredibly easy houseguest. He is quiet, kennels on command, sleeps through the night in bed with his foster mom, and has a very calm demeanor. He loves to snuggle, doesn’t destroy things, eats alongside the other dogs in his foster home without any food aggression, is wonderful for nail trims, is potty trained and walks great on a leash. He truly enjoys his daily walks! Now for the harder parts. Milo gets nervous in the car and will shake during rides. He also barks at the doorbell and when visitors come over. While he peacefully coexists with other dogs, he doesn’t really seek out their companionship. The biggest challenge is that Milo does not do well with men and may bite if he feels uncomfortable. He has made progress with his foster dad and will occasionally jump into his lap, but building that trust has taken time and patience. Because of this, we feel Milo would do best in a single female home. Situations involving male visitors, such as repair workers or guests, would require Milo to be safely kenneled. We know this may not paint Milo in the best light, but the truth is he is a really wonderful dog who simply needs the right environment to feel safe and secure. Milo is an almost 6 year old Chihuahua mix weighing 15 pounds. If you think you may be Milo’s person, applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days.
