Story
Annabel is 6 months old. She is very intelligent and house-trained. My job has required more of me, including traveling, and I can't afford to leave it; I did not anticipate additional travel. It's not fair to Annabel to be constantly boarded. I would like for her to have an experienced owner who has the time to play with her. I suggest at least two good walks per day including mental stimulation activities.

All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter.  We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application.  If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.helpingshepherdsofeverycolor.com  You may also find us on facebook:  Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue. HI, I AM TRUDY.  I COULD BE THE BEST PRESENT YOU WILL EVER GET AND YOU COULD BE THE BEST PRESENT I WILL EVER GET BY GIVING ME A PERMANENT FOREVER HOME. I AM 1/2 TO 3/4 GERMAN SHEPHERD AND 8 MONTHS OLD. I HAVE HAD ALL MY SHOTS AND FIXED AND READY TO GO FOR YOU. MY FOSTER PARENTS LOVE ME AND I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS. WHEN I WAS LITTLE SOMEONE WAS NOT GOOD TO ME AND I AM BLIND IN ONE EYE. SO I AM A SPECIAL NEEDS DOG, YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT WITH ME. I NEED A WELL FENCED YARD AND LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION. I LOVE EVERYONE AND EVERYBODY. GIVE ME A GOOD HOME AND I WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND. THANKS. TRUDY Trudy is a special pup.  She is very friendly and loving and she likes for you to sit down so she can crawl in your lap.  She wants to play with her foster siblings but they aren't really interested.   We don't know Trudy's background, but she has some slight physical limitations.  She can be walked on a harness but not with a collar.  She is sensitive to anesthesia and she is blind in one eye so may startle easy when approached from that side.  Other than that, Trudy is just a loving pup who needs a furever home.        May 18, 2024, 11:33 pm

She has been good with a female dog her size and a small male dog, but she is way too interested in bothering kitties.   Bitsy was in a foster home with kids and is learning not to jump on them.  She loves to play fetch but she also loves to cuddle.  Bitsy is great in the house and can stay uncrated while you're not home....UNLESS.....something yummy is left unsupervised on the counter. Then she might give in to temptation and help herself.  I mean if you leave it there, it must be for her, right?  May 18, 2024, 11:33 pm
