Story
Sweet June is only about 6 months old, and through no fault of her own, she found herself in the shelter after an accident. Imagine making one mistake and losing everything.Despite that heartbreaking start, June hasn't let it dim her sweet spirit. She is an incredibly gentle, well-mannered puppy who is learning that people can be kind. It took her a few days to trust again in her foster home, but once she did, her loving personality began to shine.💕 She gets along well with other dogs.🐱 She's curious about cats but has shown no aggression.🛋️ She loves lounging on the couch and curling up in a soft dog bed.🦴 Hard chew toys are her favorite!❄️ She absolutely loves air conditioning (and honestly, who doesn't?).🏡 She's practically house-trained, with only one accident during five days in foster care.💤 She's calm, relaxed, and even enjoys having her own cozy kennel space.June is still just a puppy with her whole life ahead of her. She'll be spayed before adoption and is ready to find a family that understands that accidents happen—but love, patience, and second chances can change everything.Could you be the one to give June the forever home she's been waiting for? ❤️

Meet Trixie ❤️ Beauty, brains, and a heart of gold—Trixie has it all. At 2 years old, this gorgeous German Shepherd is as sweet as they come. She has a playful spirit, a gentle soul, and a loving personality that shines brighter every day. Whether she’s enjoying playtime, soaking up affection, or politely taking treats like the superstar she is, Trixie is always eager to make her people smile. One of the most special things about Trixie is her incredible bond with her tiny best friend, Pixie. Despite their size difference, these two are inseparable. Pixie brings Trixie comfort and confidence in their kennel, and Trixie watches over her little sidekick with quiet devotion. Their friendship is a beautiful reminder that love comes in all sizes. While Trixie would make a wonderful addition to any loving home, our greatest hope is to see her adopted alongside Pixie so they can continue their journey together. After everything they’ve been through, they deserve a forever family that will cherish the incredible bond they share. If you’re ready to open your heart to two amazing dogs who will fill your home with twice the love, Trixie and Pixie are waiting to meet you. 🐾 Age: 2 years 🐾 Breed: German Shepherd 🐾 Adoption Fee: $450 Please Note: All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide veterinary records confirming that any dogs currently in the household are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Story
Meet Ginger: Ginger is a 2-year-old King Shepherd mix who came to us as an owner surrender in early 2024 after bravely overcoming a heartbreaking case of parvo. Due to the medical costs, her previous owner was unable to continue her care—but thanks to treatment and time, Ginger is now completely healthy and ready to find a loving home. Ginger is a super sweet dog and a total love bug who truly enjoys affection and being close to her people. She is high energy and can get excited easily, so she would thrive in a home with older children who are comfortable with a large, enthusiastic dog. Ginger benefits greatly from structure and a consistent routine, which helps her channel her energy and feel secure. She does well with other dogs, but can be a bit selective—she will do best with a canine companion who has the right temperament to match her playful, confident personality. With proper introductions and the right match, she enjoys making dog friends and socializing safely. With the right balance of activity, guidance, and love, Ginger is ready to be a joyful, affectionate companion who brings warmth and energy to her new family.

Meet Mama Aspen! 💖 Hi there! I’m Mama Aspen — a gentle, loving girl with a big heart. I came to Big Dog Ranch Rescue as a stray from Alabama, pregnant and looking for safety. I raised my beautiful puppies with lots of love, and now that they’re all grown, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own. I’m wonderful on a leash and really enjoy going for walks. I get along great with other dogs, adore kids alike, and my favorite things include playing with stuffed animals, cuddling up close to my human, and getting those irresistible belly rubs! I might not have much experience beyond being an amazing mama, but I have endless love to give. What I want most is a family who’ll snuggle with me, take me on walks, and make me feel safe and cherished. ❤️ Are you the one who’ll give me my forever home?

Story
Meet Patricia! Patricia is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd mama who is ready to find a patient and understanding family of her very own. With a moderate energy level, she enjoys spending time with her people, exploring the outdoors, and relaxing by your side after a day of fun. Patricia is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash, and knows her basic commands. She absolutely loves to cuddle and is always happy to join you for an adventure—especially if it involves water, one of her favorite things! While Patricia is a sweet and loving girl, she can be shy around new people and needs time to build trust and feel comfortable in unfamiliar situations. Once she knows you, her affectionate and loyal personality truly shines. Because of this, Patricia would do best in an adult-only home with experienced adopters who understand the German Shepherd breed and can give her the patience and guidance she needs to settle in at her own pace. If you're looking for a devoted companion and are willing to give a deserving dog the time she needs to blossom, Patricia may be the perfect addition to your family.
