Story
Ace and Archie are a bonded father/son pair who must stay together. Ace will be 6 on Jan 25, and Archie is 4 (April birthday). They have been together since Archie was born and rely heavily on each other. Ace is deeply loyal, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. He has a big heart and a strong personality but needs significant work with manners and behavior. He is not a beginner dog and would do best with an experienced German Shepherd owner who can provide consistent structure. Archie is more mellow and gentle but slow to trust. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly devoted and calm and would thrive in a patient, understanding home. Due to frequent work travel, I can no longer give them the time and training they deserve. This decision is extremely difficult but comes from love and responsibility. Rehoming details: They will only be placed together. A $300 rehoming fee for the pair applies. A written agreement is required, and if placement does not work out, they must be returned to me.

He has had K9 training and knows all basic commands with advanced training where he learned to heal and improve recall. Good on a leash, and house trained with access to a pet door. Dislikes a crate but will go in. Neutered and up to date on shots. Loves to chase balls and take walks. Prefer experience with GSD breed. Must have fenced yard although he is not an escape artist. Prefers to relax at home with his people and always observant for stranger danger. Wonderful companion.

Story
Schnapps mom passed away at the end of January. He is a good boy but is slowly going blind and is under vet care. He is crate trained and is house broken. He doesn't like cats, small children, or small dogs. Those are his only drawbacks. He's very friendly and affectionate, loves to show you his toys, and will be your buddy around the house (he's an inside guy) by always checking on you. His human was something of a shut-in so while he didn't get walked much, he really loves walks and going for a run. He's very calm and loves being around people. Overall, he's a very good boy and we really need to find him a happy, caring home where he can live out the remainder of his days in happiness. Please help us find him that place.

Story
Stella is a gentle 14-year-old girl looking for a quiet, loving home for her golden years. She has experienced a lot of loss - both of her beloved owners passed away within about 8 months of each other (her dad in 2021 and her owner in 2022). Because of these circumstances, our elderly mother is no longer able to care for Stella as they both age. Stella is house trained and very sweet. As a senior dog, she does need a home where someone is around most of the day or works from home, as she needs more frequent potty breaks now. She loves attention and companionship. Stella does well around other dogs and children. However she takes a little longer becoming friends with cats. These days she enjoys wandering around the yard, soaking up the sunshine, and taking lots of naps. Her joints, eyesight, and hearing aren't what they used to be, but she still has the sweetest soul and deserves a peaceful home where she can be loved and cared for.
