Story
The Nocturne litter has been raised with the kind of support that truly shows what a community can do. Born in care and lovingly raised with their momma Nera and a group of dedicated volunteers, these pups have been surrounded by attention and affection from the very beginning. Siyah may be tiny, but she has a presence that captures hearts instantly. Sweet, curious, and incredibly gentle, she takes her time exploring the world and soaking in all the little moments that make life exciting.Siyah is still just a baby and is currently learning all the basics. She’s working hard on kennel training, house training, and leash walking and is making good progress so far. Her future family will need to continue helping her build confidence and consistency as she grows. Because of her young age, Siyah has the potential to do well with other dogs, cats, and respectful children, as long as introductions are handled thoughtfully and clear boundaries are maintained.Despite her small size, Siyah is both smart and confident, and she has a way of melting the hearts of everyone she meets. She loves affection, enjoys making new friends, and is always happy to soak up attention from the people around her.If you’re ready for a tiny pup with a huge heart, apply today before Siyah steals someone else’s heart first!PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. We don't have a public shelter, so this is the first step to meeting your new furry friend!

Story
Boone, a husky crossbreed with possible shepherd lineage, was born on December 21, 2025, and has been in our care for a week. Since his arrival, Boone has showcased his respectful demeanor, particularly around his older foster siblings and foster cats. He rapidly adjusts to new routines, though initial caution is evident. Boone has learned the meaning of "no" and is close to mastering the "sit" command. He sleeps in his kennel but prefers his humans to remain visible. Remarkably, Boone has learned to ring bells to indicate his desire to go outside, a skill acquired in six days. He enjoys playing with toys and spending time outdoors, whether playing or walking. Boone also has a affectionate side, enjoying cuddles when he chooses. Meeting Boone in person is highly recommended to experience his charming personality.

Story
🐾 Hi, I’m Loki! 🐾 I’m a 4-month-old Husky mix puppy living in Brandon, Manitoba, and I’m looking for my forever humans through A Tail to Tell Frontline Rescue. Here’s what you should know about me: I’m very adorable (people tell me this constantly), super smart, and a little bit goofy. I already know sit, lay down, touch, and roll over, and I’m working hard on learning spin. If treats are involved… I learn even faster. 🍖 I weigh about 30 lbs right now, but I’m still just a puppy, so I have lots of growing (and adventuring) left to do. My favorite things include: 🎾 Toys 🐕 Playing with my foster dog brother 🍪 Treats 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Hanging out with my people I’m mostly house trained, I walk well on a leash, and I sleep perfectly in my crate all night like a very good boy. During the day I might complain a little if I have to stay in my crate… but I’m working on it. I’m gentle with kids, great with other dogs, and I would LOVE a home with an active family and a fenced yard. Another dog to play with would be amazing… but honestly I just really love being with my humans. Sometimes I pick up things like socks, shoes, or cords because I’m a curious puppy… but I’m already learning “leave it”and getting better every day. ✨ I’m vaccinated, and my neuter is included with adoption. If you think we might be best friends, please apply to adopt me through the rescue’s website. — Loki 🐾

Story
Scar is a handsome dude with a not-so-nice start to life. He was trapped when he was 5 months old cause he had never been socialized or the owner never spent time with him, just fed him when he could. He has been in our care for a year and has come a looong ways! Scar is good with people, still skiddish sometimes but overall has turned into a pretty happy boy. Loves the outdoors and other dogs. Better off in a home with another dog and a quiet home.

Story
Dena is a special case. She was trapped in April of 2025 at 5 months old, semi feral. Dena has come a long way in overcoming a very fear filled start to life. She used to be terrified of cattle but now easily passes by them. She used to be scared of the quad but now gladly runs with the quad. She accepts affection now and is very food motivated. And she's great at catching food that is thrown her way. She's house trained and sleeps in her crate every night. She'll need a calm human that spends time understanding her and a calm dog to show the way in a new home. Winning Dena's trust is a major accomplishment that should bring a big feeling of pride. She is probably not ready for the quick unpredictable movements of young children.
