Story
Sonnet is a spunky little lovebug who wants to be snuggled beside you 24/7. She’s full of attitude, curiosity, and charm, and may be tiny, but she has a big voice and an even bigger personality. Sonnet adores other dogs of all sizes, loves water, enjoys car rides, and starts every morning with sweet puppy kisses. Sonnet is working on pee pad training, kennel training, and getting comfortable wearing her collar and leash. She’s very food motivated and smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued positive training, though she’ll need patience as she learns (and keeps those razor-sharp puppy teeth in check!). She does well with dogs, kids, and cats with proper introductions and boundaries. Ready for a love story with a little sass and a lot of snuggles? Apply to meet Sonnet today! Story
Bert is 3 years old. He was rescued from a northern community and brought to the humane society. Little was known about Bert when I adopted him. Bert is very active and needs to run, walk, and play every day. He is a sensitive guy and has some anxiety. He is on medication. Bert is not aggressive nor food aggressive. He has a higher prey drive. He LOVES 98% of dogs and all kids. Bert has learned a lot since I got him. He walks very well on a leash but is still a bit too excited when he sees dogs or prey. Bert loves belly rubs, morning cuddles and peanut butter in a Kong. Bert has learned the following commands: come, down, wait, stay, leave it, no. (Although he’s not perfect about them.) Bert is a very good boy. He rests a lot during the day and is well behaved all night, but he does need some intense exercise two times a day and loves to be outside. Bert would love an active, consistent owner with a dog brother or sister.
