Ruby is a playful, smart and sweet young lady who is good on a leash. She is outgoing, lovable and funny. Ruby is friendly, loving and very much enjoys attention. Every dog is fully vetted prior to being released from the shelter. She should be kept away from cats.

Henry - unclaimed stray from city pound now available for adoption. He spent several days with a foster and foster reports he is house-trained, knows several obedience commands, and was a good babysitter for her puppy. He is not cat-friendly and is not recommended to be around livestock (he chased a donkey). To make an appointment to meet him complete the online adoption application at www.denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org/adopt $100 adoption fee includes neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and microchip. He tested POS for heartworms and her treatment through the DAWG program will be at no cost to adopter. Adopter must agree to make him available for treatment(s). He's been treated for parasites and started on flea/tick/heartworm medications.
