Story
NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER, FOSTER-TO-ADOPT OR FOSTER NEEDED! Archie is a 7ish yr old, male German Shepherd mix. He was found as a stray here in North East Texas. When he was found he was emaciated and heartworm positive. The young lady who found him has nursed him back to health, had him treated for heartworms and got him neutered and fully vaccinated so now Archie is ready for is furever home. He weighs approx. 70 lbs. Archie is good with other dogs with slow introduction. He is currenlty in Texas but will be transported to New England. f you are interested in adopting Archie or any of our dogs, please complete our online adoption application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $450.00 for adults and $550.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England! ##2306484##

Story
Meet Dusty! These pictures were taken the day Dusty was returned to us after his owner sadly passed away, and it’s clear he’s a dog who has known love and loss. Dusty is a senior shepherd mix who is deeply loyal and bonds closely with his person, making him best suited as a one-person dog in a calm household without other pets or children. He is accustomed to being the center of attention and truly thrives when he can focus all his affection on his human companion. Dusty will need a secure 6-foot privacy fence to help him feel safe and settled in his environment, and in return, he offers quiet devotion, companionship, and the kind of loyal love that only a senior dog can give.To adopt Dusty, please complete your application at this link: HTTPS://PETSFURPEOPLE.ORG/PRE-APPLICATION/ and call us at 903.597.2471 to check on status or for any questions you may have.

Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a handsome 4-year-old mixed-breed boy who’s finally ready to find his forever home after spending most of his life here at the shelter. This sweet guy has been so patient, and now it’s his turn to shine! Buddy is currently undergoing heartworm slow-kill treatment, and he’s been a real trooper through it all. He’ll need a family who can continue supporting him with love and care as he finishes his recovery. Buddy showed at a farm and was a happy boy even though he did not have a home. Buddy is very smart, loyal and loving. Buddy loves to fetch the ball and knows the command sit. He would do best as the only pet in the home — he loves having all the attention to himself! Because of his size and strength, Buddy would be best suited for a home with older kids (16+) who can match his energy and confidence. Buddy has so much love to give and can’t wait to experience life beyond the shelter. If you’re ready to give a loyal, goofy, and affectionate dog the fresh start he deserves, Buddy is waiting for you! To make an appointment to meet Buddy, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call.
