Story
Ranger is a sweet and goofy 10-year-old shepherd mix who will steal your heart with his big smile and love for walks. He’s happiest when exploring the outdoors or spending time with his favorite humans. Ranger prefers to be the only dog in the home—he doesn’t do well with other dogs—so he’s looking for a space where he can shine solo. He has no known history with cats, and we think he would do well with calm, older children who respect his space. This brave boy came to us with severe skin and ear infections, and he had lost much of his fur. Thanks to lots of care, his coat is growing back beautifully! Ranger is currently foster-to-adopt because he still needs medications and vet visits, but he’s making amazing progress and deserves a loving forever home. If you’re ready to give a resilient, affectionate pup the second chance he deserves, Ranger is waiting for you!

Story
Lilly is a stunning 10-month-old German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger need for the right home. At this age, she’s at a challenging stage and desperately needs consistent training and structure to help her thrive. Lilly can be distrusting of strangers, but once she knows you, she’s incredibly sweet and loves to engage. She does okay with other dogs but can be reactive, so slow, careful introductions are a must. She may do fine with dog-savvy cats, but no children for this girl. Lilly must go to an experienced shepherd home—someone who understands the breed and is committed to giving her the guidance and confidence she needs. With the right person, Lilly will blossom into an amazing companion.

Story
Sasha is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd with a calm, stoic personality. She loves to watch the world go by and will happily engage with people once she knows you. Sweet and loyal, Sasha has already raised puppies and was very protective of them—but she will be spayed before adoption, so that won’t be an issue moving forward. Sasha needs to be the only dog in the home. She may do okay with dog-savvy cats and is comfortable around older children who respect her space. This girl is looking for an experienced shepherd-savvy home—someone who understands the breed and can give her the structure and love she deserves. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Willow starts every day like she is ready to win a gold medal in joy and fetch. She is a smart, high energy German Shepherd who loves having a job and loves her toys even more. At 3 years old and about 70 pounds, Willow is everything people adore about the breed. She is sharp, playful and full of heart. She knows sit, crate, go outside, come, stay and even find it for her beloved ball. She is fully housetrained and sleeps or relaxes in her crate when needed. If you want a dog who lights up the moment you pick up a toy, she is your girl. Fetch is her true passion. She will proudly bring her ball, stare at you like you are the chosen one and then sprint after it with full commitment. She enjoys playing with dogs her own size who are polite and not pushy. She is sweet with kids and anyone willing to throw her ball. She is not a fan of other dogs stealing her toys and she has a high prey drive, so small dogs can look a little too fun to chase. Willow loves car rides and sees them as an adventure. Leash walking still needs some work, but she is bright and motivated which makes training easier. She has done well with the two large dogs in her foster home and even plays with the younger one. Willow will thrive in an active home with someone who enjoys engaging a working breed and who has a strong throwing arm. She has so much love and enthusiasm to give and she is ready to make someone very happy. If you think you might be her match, reach out to us for more information.  Interested in adopting? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 13, 2025, 11:23 pm

Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.December 11, 2025, 3:10 pm

Story
Jax; Meet Jax, a gentle hearted soul with a whole lot of love to give! This handsome boy may start off a little shy in new environments or around unfamiliar faces, but once he warms up, he's incredibly affectionate and loyal. Jax thrives on human connection- he'll nudge you for pets and proudly parade his favorite toys just to show off his playful side. Jax is a smart pup who already knows several cues like "sit", "kennel", and " come around". He will walk behind you and sit sweetly between your legs. He enjoys learning and responds well to gentle, consistent guidance. When it comes to mealtime, Jax is a slow and sensitive eater. He prefers the calm and comfort of his kennel during meals and does best when given his space, as he can become anxious if other dogs approach his bowl. Jax can be selective with other dogs, he may do well with a calm and respectful canine companion after a proper introduction. if you're looking for a loving thoughtful companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, consider giving Jax the forever home he deserves. He'll be your best buddy, your quiet comfort, and your biggest stuffed animal fan. Jax is ready to find his person- could that be you? December 11, 2025, 3:10 pm
