Story
Hi, my name is Scooter! There are a few things I absolutely love; playing with balls (any ball [basketballs, footballs, tennis balls, etc]), spending time with my people, going on adventures, and training! I didn't have the ideal early puppyhood experience. I was very underweight and scared when I was brought into the system. It took months for me to get to my ideal weight all while getting older and never experiencing a normal life. The majority of my exposure to the world has been in the shelter system. I have been on walks and hikes with one of the volunteers. She is helping me work on skills and my confidence when in the real world. The other volunteers are helping me with being able to handle the kennel life. I love when they get me out to play and run around with me!I would highly benefit from continuing with reward-based training. I've been introduced to clicker training and I think it's fun! I catch onto things very quickly and enjoy learning. Once my needs have been met, I am content on laying on my bed and chewing on bones. My dream home is where my mental and physical needs can be met via bonding, playing, chewing on toys, adventures, and training. I really need someone who can be patient and continue helping me learn how to cope with the real world. I would benefit from a home where there are no other dogs or cats in the home and limited foot traffic. I need time to decompress and learn a new routine and how it is to be in a home setting. I really can't wait to call a home mine and make memories with my forever family. I can't wait to meet you!Born 04/01/2022- adoption fee $250- medium sized at 35lbs- no dogs - no cats- would benefit from a fenced in yardFill out an application at all4animalsrescue.org  ##1624773##

Story
Drake’s mom was GSP, dad was “lab mix”. He was born February 16, 2022. We got him as a puppy from a family nearly giving them away. He’s very food motivated. He knows: sit, shake, outside, go to bed/kennel- all as long as u have a treat ready! He’s occasionally scared of the dark. Primarily lives outside, sleeps in garage nightly. He isn’t trusting if he has food/treat and you get near his mouth. He doesn’t like cats, or other animals smaller than him. He is not getting along with chickens, cats, and will likely not like our 4h additions. He has played well with others of similar size, but he has no personal space. He is VERY sweet and when he “cuddles” he cant get close enough to you, in his opinion. Drake needs an outlet for his vast amounts of energy, structure, love, and no animals smaller than he is.

These pups are in South Bend, Indiana too!

Story
My name is Ricky and I'm a 9 month old male Dalmatian that is housebroken. I'm working on crate training as I don't like my crate However, as cute as I am I do have some things that I need work on. I've only been with my foster for about a month now. Yes I do have a ton of energy and a fenced in yard would be best for me. Ricky does get along with other dogs but needs to time to get to know the dog. He doesn't make friends with other dogs right away. No cats as I want to eat them.  After having Ricky I have also learned that he is leary of new people. We are working on that as well. Basically, he is not a dog that anyone can just come up and pet right away. He has never bitten that I know of though. When he meets new people he barks and growls at first. If you give him a few minutes he warms up though. He has been good with older kids but needs major work on not jumping. Again another thing we are working on with him. I need a lot of training starting with just the basics like leash walking and stuff. I have no leash skills and pull hard. We have not been able to work with him on leash training yet but it's on the list. I know he sounds like a handful but I just know he could become and great companion for someone willing to teach him.
