Story
Meet Mahoney, a bundle of joy with a playful spirit and a gentle soul. This baby girl is sure to bring laughter and love with her cute and funny antics. She is smart and quiet, with a friendly demeanor that will win over your heart. Mahoney has a curious mind and a loving heart, always up for an adventure or a good cuddle. With her playful and gentle nature, she is the perfect addition to a loving family. Could you be the one to give Mahoney her forever home? We are unsure of the exact breed mix this beautiful girl is, even with a photo of mom. We believe she will be a large sized dog as an adult in the 55+ lb range. She will come current on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped and is on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. **This is an Out Of Town listing. We transport to the city on this listing.** Adoption fee is $450 which includes transport. _______________________________ Considering adoption? Start by filling out our online application (copy and paste the following link) https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DIX/dog Once submitted, we’ll review it and reach out to approved applicants by phone or email. A Petfinder Inquiry is not the same as an application - COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a generated confirmation email. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY READY TO ADOPT. All of our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. *** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents
