Blue has never met a stranger—only friends he hasn't said hello to yet. This energetic Blue Heeler mix greets life with an enthusiastic tail wag and a contagious excitement that's hard not to smile at. Whether you're meeting him for the first time or the hundredth, Blue is always happy to see you and eager to be part of whatever adventure is happening next. As you'd expect from a Heeler mix, Blue is an active guy who loves having something to do. Walks, games, exploring, or simply spending time with his people—he's all in. His zest for life is matched only by his affectionate personality, and he thrives on attention from the people he loves. Blue is looking for a home that can keep both his body and his mind busy while giving him plenty of opportunities to be included in family life. In return, you'll get a loyal companion who will happily brighten every day with his playful spirit and unwavering enthusiasm. If you're searching for a fun-loving best friend who's always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a happy heart, Blue is ready to meet you.

Story
Meet Ash 🐾💙 Ash is a large-to-XL Chesapeake Bay Retriever with a brilliant mind, a loyal heart, and a love for life that shines through in everything he does. Ash is good with dogs and people but does require slow, thoughtful introductions. Once he knows you, though, he really knows you — and once he chooses you, he’s yours for life. His loyalty runs deep. He was raised with kids and continues to be friendly with them. He has no known allergies. However, Ash is not good with cats and will need a feline-free home. This boy is incredibly smart and thrives when he has an outlet for his energy. He loves his ball — especially his special soccer ball (which is irreplaceable and will absolutely need to go with him). He’ll play fetch, but his favorite game? Throw the ball straight up and watch him leap to catch it mid-air. His catch skills are seriously impressive. Ash also LOVES water — true to his breed. If there’s a lake, river, kiddie pool, or even a hose involved, he’s all in. Given the chance, he will happily play for hours. Ash would do best in an active home that understands large breeds, is willing to do slow introductions, and appreciates a smart, loyal companion who bonds deeply. He is an amazing dog who just needs someone willing to step up for him during this difficult transition. If you’re ready for a devoted, water-loving, ball-obsessed best friend, Ash is waiting.

Story
Moona is a beautiful black and white Staffordshire mix who has already proven that she’s a pretty well-rounded girl. She is housebroken, knows her basic commands like sit and down, and walks nicely on a leash. She has lived with both dogs and cats, and so far she has been okay with both here at the shelter. Her previous home did have dogs and cats as well, although there was a fight between the dogs in the home and it wasn’t known which dog was the aggressor. Moona was surrendered to us following that incident and is now looking for a fresh start. She’s a friendly girl with some great skills under her belt, and she’s ready to find a home where she can settle in, enjoy life, and be part of a family again.

Story
Hi, I’m Lucky 🐾🤎🤍 I’m a senior brindle and white gentleman with a very important job in life: making friends and acting like I’ve been best buddies with everyone I meet my whole life. I came in from west of Unity with my pal Spike, and we’ve clearly been through a few adventures together. I’m the more outgoing one of the duo—happy to say hello, check things out, and generally assume people are here to adore me (which, honestly, is usually correct). I enjoy wandering, companionship, and keeping an eye on things alongside my quieter partner-in-crime. I may be a senior, but I’ve still got plenty of charm and enthusiasm left in the tank. If you’re looking for a friendly, easygoing guy with a bit of “been there, done that, still fabulous” energy, I’m your Lucky boy. 🍀
