Story
Emma is a 10 year old GSP we adopted about 6 years ago from her previous owner. She has been with our family and smaller dog since that time but recently they had a fight while they were boarded when we were traveling. She bit our smaller dog on the chest and legs and the vet has advised us they should not be together. As a result we need to find her a new home and want to let others know that she is best as the only animal in the house - GSPs are hunting dogs and she will go after cats and other small animals. She is sweet with humans, kennel trained, energetic, happy, and loves to please - she lives to get outside and exercise so would be a great running, walking, hiking companion. If we cannot find her a new home fast, she will have to be put down because shelters cannot accept her with the bite history on another dog. We love her and do not want to make this decision but have a small window to work in unfortunately. Local to the Nashville or Middle TN area please.

Story
He’s a really smart and hyper boy. He’s easy to train. I like him a lot. But he has intense exercise needs I can’t accommodate and he wasnt even supposed to be my dog. I’m his second home already. He want to be outside for hours and probably needs other dogs to play with that long since he currently struggles a LOT with being alone which I’ve done a good bit of training out him by giving him low energy doses of being left alone for small durations. I can’t walk and play him as much as he needs because I help with kids, have other pets and am a low energy human with sleeping disorders and a need for downtime to manage my mental oscillations and when his needs aren’t met, he gets bored and stressed and it shows. I’ve gotten him a myriad of toys but he probably needs PUZZLE toys. I think we love eachother but he’s not happy and neither am I. I think we make eachothers’ lives worse and it’s a necessary albeit painful breakup. He’s a GOOD dog I can tell.
