Story
Avery's Story ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Lover of air conditioning and a cool floor. My mom was wandering around south Texas, but once she had her puppies she jumped on the first transport north to DFW. Hi, Im Avery! I am 9 weeks old and 12 pounds of polka dotted cuteness. My brother and I have been hanging out with our foster brothers and are now old enough to find our forever homes. I am smart, like learning tricks and am doing well with potty training. We are working on walking on a leash, but still need some help to keep from getting too excited. After spending some time zooming around the backyard or wrestling with my boys, I love to sploot on any cool surface and take a nap. I get along with dogs of all sizes, love people, but have never been around cats. My mom is only 15 pounds, but I ate my vegetables and will likely be over 30 pounds. Do you think I could join your family? *Dog Adopters must live in the DFW area - no exceptions * Adopters must have a fully fenced in yard (no apartment homes), *Current/ past pets must have/had a good vaccine record, spayed/neutered, and have/had proof of a consistent history of heartworm prevention. *smaller puppy homes require children at least 5 years of age **We will be accepting multiple applications to ensure we find the best fit for each puppy. Homes where someone is home more often than not and/or have another dog will take priority. If you would like to meet Avery, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. We reserve the right to refuse placement of an animal for any reason
