Story
Ruby turns 4 on July 7th and has been with us since she was 6 weeks old. She’s energetic, smart, and incredibly loving. She adores swimming, tennis balls, ice cubes, and has a natural hunting instinct. She knows all basic commands and even a custom one: say “spot” and she goes straight to her bed and waits for instruction. She thrives on positive reinforcement and behind-the-ear scratches. We’re rehoming Ruby because she’s struggled to adjust to our toddler. She becomes anxious and avoidant around young children and snarled once, which told us it wasn’t the right fit. Ruby deserves a home where she feels fully confident and safe. She would thrive with older kids, adults, or an active family who loves the outdoors. She is a once-in-a-lifetime dog and we want nothing more than to see her fully shine in the right home. 💛

Story
Nori was named for the name in Hebrew meaning "Light". She was tied up to an old truck in the Rio Grande Valley .She was adopted but given away and now we have her.  She is about 2.5 years old and weighs about 25 lbs.  She is such a doll. She is a sweet, petite, very unique young dog.  She is fully grown \!  She is a mini - she kind of looks like a Mini English Coonhound perhaps?  We don't know for sure but we do know she is adorable!    She is wonderful with other dogs and children and has a happy demeanor.  She has  gentle disposition and desires to find her forever - human to follow around, cuddle and devote her love to for the rest of her life  Nori knows basic commands like sit and lie down, and also knows simple phrases such as "want to go potty?". "Want a bone?" She is potty trained.  As with any rescue, she will need time to adopt to her new home. She loves to do zoomies and would love a playmate!  Nori can be shy when meeting new people but never, ever aggressive and warms up super quick.  She just take a few minutes to relax.    She also loves a boy thrown or a toy to play with her owner.  Her favorite activity is playing with other dogs though.  She would love doggy day care too.  She's calm and well behaved and loves car rides.  We are looking for a forever home with someone home more than not She will be good with older children instead of toddlers only because she has never been around any.   She is light heartworm positive and we are treating her.Applications to foster or adopt Nori are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##2345154##

Story
Meet Kip – A Sweet, Snuggly Pup with a Big Heart (and a Brave Spirit!) Kip is as cute as they come and has the sweetest soul to match. This handsome young pup absolutely adores being around his people—cuddles, belly rubs, and quality time are high on his list of favorite things. He's also a big fan of snacks (who isn't?), which makes him extra motivated to learn and bond. Kip is 1.5 years old and weighs 86 pounds. He is potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He'd love a home with another dog to keep him company, a yard to romp around in, and plenty of toys and chew bones to keep him happy. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a truly special pup, Kip will reward you with a lifetime of love, loyalty, and snuggles. Story
Hi there… I’m Gabby Sue  Please help me find my forever home.... I need my forever. A 55 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. I’m healthy, heartworm & tick negative, and on prevention—just waiting for someone to choose me. All I want is a home full of love… and someone to call mine The adoption fee for OK/Gabby Sue,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Gabby Sue part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Gabby Sue-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will be able to talk to you on Gabby Sue.   Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  July 1, 2026, 5:39 pm
