Story
She loves to run outside, loves to play with other dogs. Not so much with tiny dogs. She loves to go on hikes outdoors. Roxie loves stuffed animals, she thinks they are her babies. We have had Roxie for the past 4.5 years. She is a very loyal dog and a great guard dog. She will alert you immediately if someone is trying to break in. She is very attached to our oldest two children who are now 17 and 14. We recently now have two younger children, under 2, and she is very timid around them. For this reason we are looking to rehome Roxie to a new home without small kids. She needs an owner who can let her just relax around the house without being chased by toddlers. She has not bitten them but the timid personality around small children is a concern.

These pups are in Elkhart, Indiana too!

Story
Meet Ally! A female pomeranian available for adoption!  She is estimated around 6 years old and came to us after her owner passed away. She was just spayed, had a dental and is caught up on vaccines!  Ally is: brave, curious, sweet, confident, friendly, adorable, easygoing, funny, and an excellent lap warmer.  Her cute face and personality light up a room, and her tail never stops wagging! She is a happy girl and loves everyone she meets. She is potty trained as long as she goes out every few hours. She is crate trained, although she prefers to snuggle with her person at night. Ally gets along well with dogs of all sizes, but really loves to be around people (getting scritches and giving kisses). She is working on losing a few pounds through diet and getting exercise by walking and playing in the yard. Ally would be a great dog for someone that is home a lot or loves to bring their dog along with them. Ally is a special girl and she would love a home for the holidays! Application are on our website  www.trackingintheshadows.com Ally's adoption fee is competely sponsored which means he is free to go home with an approved application. The sponsorship is given by Kelly in memory of her loving husband, Ray.  They rescued their pomeranian, Sloany, before Ray passed.  We do not adopt to homes with underground/electric fencing All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention ##2561275##

Story
I know someone has been holding out for a hero and here he is!  Hero ‍is a 7 year old Pomeranian looking for his forever home. He came to the rescue after his owner passed away along with his siblings.  Hero is a sweet boy who is shy at first but will be your best friend with time and patience. He does well with other adult dogs and likes to play! Hero would do best in a home with older children who understand boundaries and manners. At this time, he is crate trained, knows sit and is still potty training. I suggest a belly band if not watching him closely. He does well on a leash and does not require a fenced in yard.  If you’re interested in adopting Hero, please apply online at https://www.trackingintheshadows.com. We do not adopt to homes with underground/electric fencing. All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention.   Hero's adoption fee is competely sponsored which means he is free to go home with an approved application. The sponsorship is given by Kelly in memory of her loving husband, Ray.  They rescued their pomeranian, Sloany, before Ray passed.  ##2561273##

Story
Meet Teddy Teddy is a nine-year-old Pomeranian with a heart as fluffy as his fur! This sweet little gentleman is the ultimate companion—he loves to be near his person, following from room to room just to keep you company. He’s happy to snuggle in your bed or curl up in his own cozy spot nearby.   Teddy is gentle, affectionate, and gives the best kisses in exchange for scratches and cuddles. When treats are around, he’ll even show off his adorable “happy dance”! He knows his basic commands, and while he’s mostly potty trained, he appreciates frequent potty breaks (or does great in a belly band if needed).   Teddy gets along well with other small dogs but is just as content being the center of attention as your one-and-only furry friend. He’s adaptable, easy-going, and settled right into his foster home as if he had always belonged there.   Teddy has a few medical needs, but they don’t slow him down one bit. He has a cataract in his right eye and uses steroid drops to prevent glaucoma. He’s also on an oral iron supplement for mild anemia. After having twenty teeth removed recently, he’s feeling fantastic again and eats with no problem at all.   If you’re looking for a loyal, loving little shadow who will brighten your days and warm your heart, Teddy is your guy.   Teddy's adoption fee is competely sponsored which means he is free to go home with an approved application. The sponsorship is given by Kelly in memory of her loving husband, Ray.  They rescued their pomeranian, Sloany, before Ray passed. . He is fully vetted for 1 year, neutered, microchipped, & on monthly preventatives. Applications for adoption are at www.trackingintheshadows.com.  Please live within 1 hour of Elkhart or South Bend, IN.  Please be ready to take him home within 1-3 days of applying. Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet Teddy. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. All dogs & cats in the home must be spayed/neutered & up to date on core vaccines & preventatives in order for your application to be approved.* ##2561274##
