Sammie is a 13 year old pomeranian mix who found himself in need of a new beginning after his beloved owner passed away. Despite the big change in his life, Sammie's gentle spirit has remained unchanged-he absolutely adores attention and loves being close to his people.   This handsome little guy is currently working on a weight-loss journey in his foster home. Because he's a bit overweight, his ideal family will be moderately active and committed to helping him stay mobile and comfortable as he ages. Daily walks, light playtime, and a healthy routine will go a long way in supporting his joints and overall well-being   Sammie has so much love to give and is eager to spend his golden years in a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and included. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will brighten your days, Sammie might be the perfect match. Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. ##2598057##
