Story
Vovy is an almost 10-month-old German Spitz (born 3/2/2025) who currently weighs 11 lbs. and may grow a bit more. He was transferred from another local shelter after being surrendered. He’s a lively little guy with a big personality packed into a small body. In his kennel, Vovy is very communicative (he definitely has opinions!), so he may do best in a home without shared walls. He can show some crate-related guarding, but once he’s out of the kennel, his true personality shines—he’s extremely affectionate, loves to be held and carried, and enjoys bouncing around with playful energy. Vovy would do best with older kids, seems okay around other dogs, and can be cat tested if needed. Like many young dogs, he’ll benefit from continued training, structure, and positive reinforcement to help him grow into a confident companion.
