Story
Meet Wilma Flintstone!Don’t let her age fool you — this very young 8-year-old is full of personality, pep, and love! Weighing in at about 14 pounds, Wilma is the perfect mix of playful companion and loyal shadow.Wilma is:✨ Energetic and toy-obsessed🚗 A huge fan of car rides🐾 Always ready for walks or patio time🛁 A bath-time superstar (she stands still the whole time!)🧠 Super smart and eager to learn🍗 Very food motivated (training win!)She gets along with other dogs, but this confident little lady does like to be the alpha female — even if she doesn’t quite realize how tiny she is. 😉 She may chase cats if they run, but tends to lose interest if they ignore her.Wilma is the ultimate velcro dog. She wants to be wherever you are — whether that’s following you from room to room, snoozing at the foot of your bed, or keeping watch while you brush your teeth (or yes… even when you're in the bathroom 😅).If you're looking for a smart, spunky best friend who will love you fiercely and never let you go to the bathroom alone again… Wilma Flintstone is your girl. 💕To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

Story
Poor 💛LEXI💛. She got her full workup at the vet this week and has a huge heart that causes her to cough a lot, and she was very anemic. After her B12 shot, heart meds, good food, and TLC, she's feeling better! Of course, it's relative to her condition, but we love knowing that she's at least getting relief. Doc says that this little girl has had a VERY tough life. Lexi is looking for a home that will let her be the pampered old lady she deserves to be, however long that lasts. We should ALL deserve that in our final years, right?? Let's get this girl a soft place to land ....Nationwide transport available, thanks to our Flight Transport partners with SWATT Transport and that flies in cabin with Southwest AirlinesDog adoptions are $250, and if you need nationwide transport, it's an extra $250 for the flight and all materials needed.
