Story
TINY DOG WITH A BIG PERSONALITY  DOB 10/9/21, weight 10 # Hey there, everyone! I’m Mochi, a very affectionate, friendly, and lively white Japanese Spitz/ Pomeranian mix gal who promises to be your ideal companion since I combine a tiny body with my big personality. My glorious fluffy coat and feathered tail are almost as attractive as my cheerful, eager-to-please personality. I'm a bright, alert, high-energy girl who's always ready for a walk or playtime. My previous owners kept me living outdoors, where I felt abandoned and ignored. Since I’m obviously a sociable pooch who loves people, a Good Samaritan noticed my sad situation and inquired about me. My owners admitted that they didn’t have time to care for me and agreed to surrender me to HOPE. Thank heavens my foster mom gives me plenty of the attention that I deserve, but unfortunately I struggle with separation anxiety if I’m left alone for long periods. I’m working on overcoming the scars of my past emotional abuse, and I’m grateful for the friendship of the resident small dogs and cats who keep me company while Foster Mom is at work. I’m kennel-trained and working on my housebreaking. Now I’m ready to be the loyal, devoted companion of my forever family, which can include kids who are old enough to know the difference between a toy dog and a toy. With my active, high-spirited demeanor and affinity for hoomans, could I be your next perky pet? I can’t wait to show you my high intelligence when I master tricks, puzzles, and games with ease. Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID D26-0124-0004 Mochi’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. To apply online:http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Mochi will be this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
