*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Jacob! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'pray' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Get ready to fall in love with Jacob, a charming guy who made his way into everyone's hearts quickly. He's got a superstar "sit" that he'll proudly show off for a tasty treat or a squeaky toy performance. Jacob is a chew toy connoisseur! Hard-to-destroy toys are his jam! He's done amazing during his PACK stay and loves to be loved on. He gets along great with all the dogs he meets. He can be a little mouthy with his play but listens when you tell him to calm down. His recall is great too, making him check most people's boxes. Jacob will win you over with his brown soulful eyes. He is so-so with kitty cats. To our knowledge he's never lived with them, but he may chase if they run. With consistent boundaries and training he could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat. If you're looking for a well-rounded dog, who is house trained and kennel trained already, he might be a great fit! Jacob will graduate towards the end of May, but why wait? Apply to meet him today!
