Story
Emmie is about the most adorable pup we have seen in quite some time She has such a lovely, pleasant, sweet, adorable personality that no one can resist snuggling with her She came to our Rescue from Ocala where she was just dumped off on the shelter driveway and fortunately, a caring citizen saw this happened and took her inside From day one, Emmie has been nothing but a gentle and loving soul.
Living now in a wonderful foster home with the mom who was a trainer in years past, she has nothing but glowing comments for this sweet girl. As you can see from the pictures, she does beautifully with older children and enjoys her daily walks with their 5 year old dog as well. She is super smart and and knows to ring the bell when she needs to go outside.
Emmie walks well on a leash, is perfect in the house with no chewing, counter surfing, jumping on furniture (unless asked of course) and no digging in the yard She is friendly and affectionate to those she meets and hardly ever barks. She rides well in the car, loves giving kisses and enjoy treats, taking them very gently with a soft mouth,
She would enjoy another dog of similar size and activity level but most of all, she would love a new family who loves to snuggle and give her the loving she so deserves. She would be an ideal girl for someone who works from home or a retired single or couple. Don't get me wrong, she loves older children too so a family with respectful teens would be a blessing for her as well.
She is heartworm negative, vaccinated, spayed, wormed and microchipped and three years old. In all honesty, we are unsure of her heritage but with beautiful markings and a precious face like hers, who cares!! She has the softest golden color coat ever, little polka dots on her legs and white on her sweet muzzle and chest. Although her heritage may be a mystery, there is no mystery about this sweet girl's personality. One thing for sure, she has a Golden personality!! She is a gentle soul and lucky is the family who will call her their very own.++
Her new home should have a nice fenced yard, someone able to walk her daily, another calm dog as a companion maybe, no children under 6.and must live in NE Florida/SE Georgia.
