Mallow is a sweet, gentle soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. This shy puppy takes a little time to warm up, but once he begins to trust, his soft and loving nature really shines through. The busy shelter environment can be overwhelming for him, so he often feels safest when being carried around by the people he trusts.Mallow is currently learning how to walk on a leash and build confidence with humans. He will need a patient, understanding home that will allow him the time and guidance he needs to blossom.Another friendly, confident dog in the home would be wonderful for Mallow, helping him feel secure and giving him a companion to learn from. A secure fenced yard is important so he can safely explore and build confidence at his own pace. Because he is still very timid, a home without small children would be best.Mallow still has some growing to do and will likely become a medium to large dog, so apartment living is not recommended. With patience, love, and a calm environment, Mallow has all the potential to grow into a loyal and devoted companion.

Meet the handsome, Chop! This adorable puppy was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and is now settling into a loving foster home. Now that he is safe and cared for, he is getting the chance to learn what it means to be a happy, carefree puppy. He is about 4 months old and weighs 25 pounds. We expect him to be a medium to large size adult dog. His breed is a guess, but he has the beautiful markings and coat of a German wire haired pointer.Like most young pups, he is still learning the basics of house training and everyday manners, but he is doing great and improving every day. With patience, love, and consistency, he will grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.He loves playing with toys, exploring new surroundings, and having fun with other dogs.
