Story
Sparky is around one years old. He was abandoned in our neighborhood and so we fostered him. Since we have cats we always knew this would be temporary. We tried finding the original owners but he was not microchipped. We have updated his shots, gotten him fixed and microchipped. We have also crate trained him at night or when we are out of the house. Every shelter we have tried is closed for intake so now we are trying to rehome him individually. He does not get along with cats and can be aggressive to smaller dogs. He is very gentle with our 7 year old and other kids he's been around. He will make a great dog for the right family that can match his energy.

Meet Maxwell! This stunning gentleman came to our shelter after his owner's health declined and he's not one bit happy with his current circumstances. You see, Maxwell considers himself quite the songbird and being in a kennel is keeping him out of the recording studio which, in turn, is ruining his dreams of becoming a Grammy-winner (or at least that's what he tells us). Despite his vocality, Maxwell is a very sweet and snuggly boy. He just needs a loving family that will give him an appropriate outlet for his energy and work with him through all his big emotions. Maybe you're a therapist in training? Consider Maxwell your first patient! A guy this gorgeous deserves to be in a home, not the shelter. Come meet him today!
