Meet Rain! 🌧️🐾 Rain is an 11-month-old, 23-pound schnauzer/terrier mix (or at least that’s our best guess!) with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She’s loving, calm, and so well-behaved—truly the kind of dog that makes fostering feel easy. Rain was found as a stray and was lovingly cared for in a foster home before coming to the rescue, and it shows—she’s potty trained, well-mannered, and gets along great with other dogs. She’s the perfect mix of soft, affectionate, and easygoing, and she’s ready to bring that peaceful energy into her forever home.

Meet Quill! 💙🐾 Quill is a 4-year-old, 21-pound Schnauzer with a shy nature and a warm, hopeful heart. He’s the most cheerful of the three brothers who were found dumped together—matted, scared, and abandoned… but despite his past, Quill’s happy little spirit still shines through. Quill is good with both people and other dogs, and he especially enjoys hanging out with female dogs. He loves cuddles, kisses, and gentle companionship, but he does best when other dogs around him aren’t playing rough, as that makes him uncomfortable. Because Quill is still building confidence, he will need a patient adopter who can give him time to settle in and feel safe. He’s currently afraid of crossing doorways and may hesitate with anything that changes texture (like transitioning from carpet to tile, stepping over thresholds, or climbing down from furniture). With reassurance and consistency, he can absolutely continue to improve. ✅ Crate trained — sleeps great in his crate 🚫 Not house trained yet — will need help learning a routine Quill is going to thrive in a calm home with loving people who understand that trust takes time—but once he bonds with you, you’ll have the sweetest little shadow.

She’s a bit shy at first, but give her a little time and she blossoms into a playful, curious puppy who loves tug-o-war and exploring everything around her. Once playtime is over, she’s more than happy to be scooped up for a cozy cuddle nap. Nessa does wonderfully with kids, big and small dogs, and even cats, making her a great fit for many types of homes. Like most puppies her age, she’s going through a puppy nipping phase, so she’ll need gentle redirection and continued training while she learns appropriate play manners. This adorable girl is the perfect mix of playful explorer and snuggly lap pup. With patience, love, and consistency, Nessa will grow into a loyal and loving companion.
