Saved from a Rio Valley rural shelter and brought into a foster home full of love, Snicker and Doodle are two happy, playful, bouncy little boys ready for their forever families! Their mama is a Schnauzer mix weighing about 15 lbs. We’re not sure who dad was, but these boys should stay under 30 lbs full grown. They absolutely love toys — stuffies, crinkle toys, and even newspaper (yes, really! 😂). When they’re done playing and exploring, they’re more than happy to curl up for some sweet cuddles. Snicker and Doodle are ready to bring fun, laughter, and lots of love to their forever homes! Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Quill! 💙🐾 Quill is a 4-year-old, 21-pound Schnauzer with a shy nature and a warm, hopeful heart. He’s the most cheerful of the three brothers who were found dumped together—matted, scared, and abandoned… but despite his past, Quill’s happy little spirit still shines through. Quill is good with both people and other dogs, and he especially enjoys hanging out with female dogs. He loves cuddles, kisses, and gentle companionship, but he does best when other dogs around him aren’t playing rough, as that makes him uncomfortable. Because Quill is still building confidence, he will need a patient adopter who can give him time to settle in and feel safe. He’s currently afraid of crossing doorways and may hesitate with anything that changes texture (like transitioning from carpet to tile, stepping over thresholds, or climbing down from furniture). With reassurance and consistency, he can absolutely continue to improve. ✅ Crate trained — sleeps great in his crate 🚦 Mostly house trained yet — will need help learning a routine Quill is going to thrive in a calm home with loving people who understand that trust takes time—but once he bonds with you, you’ll have the sweetest little shadow.
