Story
Ellie is a petite, 3–4-year-old sweetheart weighing about 10 pounds, with a big heart packed into a small body. She is incredibly warm and loving, happiest when she’s curled up beside you or quietly following you from room to room. Ellie is a true companion dog—once she feels safe and at home, she bonds deeply and will stay right by your side. While Ellie is gentle and kind, she’s far from boring. She has an endearing goofy streak that comes out when she’s comfortable, and her little quirks are impossible not to smile at. She loves to cuddle, enjoys her walks, and does very well on a leash. Ellie does especially well with women and has a naturally sweet, soft demeanor. She can be a bit timid around men, particularly tall men, but with patience and calm introductions, she continues to build confidence. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and seems to especially enjoy the company of larger dogs. Ellie would thrive either as the only dog in a calm home or alongside a confident, larger alpha dog who can help her feel secure. She would be a great fit for a household with older children who can respect her gentle nature. Ellie is loyal, affectionate, and ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished. If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow with a loving heart and a playful spark, Ellie may be your perfect match. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers. We just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Story
🔉 Home NEEDED FOR 11 MO OLD GIANT SCHNAUZER Hi my name is Diego I am 11 months old 54lbs of giant schnauzer mixed scruff! I love to snuggle, eat some good treats and play fetch. I definitely enjoy a good toy. I am dog friendly..I have only really been around dog’s my size though..so not sure about small dogs or cats. I can be mouthy sometimes…when I don’t like something or feel scared I politely tell you when I don’t like it..I do take correction..I am still just a puppy and still learning. I am working on the potty situation..I am getting it down but still learning but I am very smart. I learned how to use my temp fosters doggie door in 10 mins! I would prefer teenagers over small children only because the people that bailed me out of doggie jail do not have any..so due to that… teenagers are best. I am looking for a forever home with people that will love me and be committed to me. Even though I’m 54 pounds..I’m still a baby and still got some learning to do…I am good boy just looking for his forever people." Diego has been fully vetted. He needs a foster home ASAP. If you can help, please reach out. 615-540-8448 Thank you! Furever Home Pet Rescue bemyforeverhome.org
