Story
Bruno, a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, wandered sinto a family’s yard and though very shy at first, he gradually warmed up to them. They took care of him and tried to find his owners, but they could not keep him. In the meantime, their little girl called him Bruno, and it stuck. Treated for heartworm and doing well, this little 16-pound guy may be about 4 years old but he’s still as spunky as a pup. The possible JRT mix may have something to do with that because he’s quite a character! Sometimes he “sings”, hops like a jumping bean and sucks on his blanket when he’s ready to settle in for a nap. He likes all people, including kids, but would probably prefer to be an only dog. Bruno would be an entertaining companion for an older person or couple because he really likes getting all of the attention. By the way, the family and their little girl still stay in touch with Bruno and are keeping their fingers crossed he will have his own family soon.
