Meet Kai a 3-4 year old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix with a smile that melts hearts and paws that love to “tap dance” when he’s excited. Kai is a friendly, affectionate, and gentle soul who has never met a stranger. He’s a polite treat taker and a big fan of belly rubs, leisurely walks, and spending time with his people. With a moderate energy level, he’s always up for an adventure but just as happy to curl up beside you when it’s time to relax. Kai is wonderful with kids of all ages and enjoys the company of other dogs, but he’d prefer a home without cats. His ideal family will give him lots of love, daily walks, and a comfy spot to nap. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a golden heart and a gentle spirit, Kai might just be your perfect match.

Special note: Takes thyroid medication twice daily (about $25/month) Heidi is a lovable and gentle soul with a heart as golden as her fur. At 7 years old and weighing in at 90 lbs, she’s in the prime of her life—perfectly content to lounge inside or run around the yard, especially if she has a furry companion to join her! Though she’s a fan of chilling indoors, she’s also playful and enjoys some fun in the sun. Be warned, though—if Heidi gets bored, she might dig a little to keep herself entertained! Heidi is house-trained, spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She’s on thyroid medication, which she takes twice a day, but it’s a manageable cost of around $25/month.
