Story
Gentle, loving, and great with kids and dogs — that’s Hope! This 4-year-old Siberian Husky mix (63 lbs) is wonderful on leash, loves car rides, and has the sweetest, most patient personality. She’s friendly with all dogs big and small, adores children of every age, and warms up quickly to new people. Hope is house trained, kennel trained, and well-mannered in the home. She can be your one-and-only or share her home with other dogs — she thrives either way. Her story began when she was abandoned outside a San Antonio business and taken in by Animal Control, but she’s spent the past two years in foster care learning love, trust, and companionship. Now fully ready for her forever family, Hope is a loyal, affectionate girl who deserves a lifetime of happiness. (No cats, please!) We can drive this pup to your area! Story
Harlow is a wonderful dog that loves to play with toys and run around the dog park. He likes to chase and be chased by the other dogs as well. It is ideal if you have a backyard or space to run. One of his back legs/hips has some tightness and swelling at times, so he is unable to jump over fences and may need help getting into your car. I don't know if he understands cat signals. Our senior cat tolerates him, but he still tries to chase her if he's overstimulated. We keep him on a leash at most times and also have gates to give the cat privacy. He does fine in a crate when we are not home. He is very food motivated and I believe would respond to training if you could give him the time. He can get very overstimulated in stores or on walks, but slowing down and redirecting him is helpful. He is currently just over 3 years old. I unfortunately found out that I am extremely allergic to him and it's affecting my overall health. Hopefully he can find a new family very soon.
