Hi! My name is Frida Kahlo, but you can call me Frida. I’m a playful, expressive pup who absolutely loves people. I am blind, but that doesn’t slow me down. I enjoy exploring the world using my nose and love to play. With a patient family who will give me the time and training I need to adjust, I know I can thrive. I enjoy going on walks and use my halo when needed to help me navigate safely. I’m a big lovebug who enjoys pets and cuddles, and I do well with kind, gentle people of all ages. I am also heartworm positive, so my exercise will need to be limited, and that it is addressed prior to my adoption. With the right family, I know I will fit in great! I can't wait to meet you! Story
We rescued Lalo January 2025. Vet says he is about 5 years old Golden retriever/Pitbull/German Shepherd mix. He has been a fun and loving addition to our family. He is strong and brave, bringing a sense of security to our home. He doesn’t seem to be afraid of fireworks or thunderstorms as other dogs are. He is resilient. I sleep so well knowing he’s always on guard. Lalo is 100% potty trained. In the 1 year we’ve had him, he has never had an accident. He is energetic, active and playful but can be chill as well watching tv with you. I recommend having a backyard so he gets daily exercise. He prefers sleeping in his kennel. I can donate kennel to future owner. Would love for him to have a brother or two to play with.
