Ranger belonged to our son who became very ill and we are re-homing for him. We are thoroughly enjoying Ranger; however, we are anxious for him to develop a relationship with his new family. He needs a family with other pets and a yard to play - he loves playing outside. He is very loving and affectionate and loves his naps. He is not a dominant dog.

Meet Curly, the most silly of stooges! Along with Moe and Larry, Curly was found running stray on the west end and brought to the shelter by a good Samaritan. Curly truly embodies the "gentle giant" moniker - this floofy husky mix is chill as a cucumber; we rarely even hear him bark! Curly is an independent soul, more about patrolling the perimeter of the yard and protecting his turf than playing with toys and running laps. In fact, now that we think about it, Curly is probably the antithesis of a stooge! His past may be a mystery, but we're hoping his future is bright. If your property is in need of surveillance without the hassle of technology and cameras, consider Curly!

Moe came to our shelter as a stray along with his stooge brothers Curly and Larry. It was obvious to us right away that Moe has done some hard living. He doesn't have the typical husky energy (or vocality), is slow to trust, and is still learning what a leash does. Moe has a very sweet spirit and gentle soul. He keeps mostly to himself and hasn't figured out toys or exactly how to "dog" yet. Moe is looking for a patient home that will allow him to build trust at his own pace, respect his independence, and teach him what love feels like! As an added bonus, Moe comes with built-in freeze prevention - he absolutely loves the Texas winter that so many of us dread! No sweaters or booties required for potty-breaks here!
